What a wonderful little establishment! The owners are incredibly welcoming and friendly!!! Cannot thank them enough for their excellent customer service. They make sure you are being helped if you need it, give wonderful advice and tips about honey and share some wonderful stories! Have never met these people before but they make you feel like a part of the family the moment you walk in! They are overwhelmingly generous and helpful, my brother at the time had a nasty cough and the gentleman owner did not hesitate to help him out, letting him try honey as needed and suggesting the best honey that would help with his cough, he was wonderful! We bought a few jars, the honey is absolutely delicious and some of the best I’ve ever had! More than worth the hour drive to their farm and will definitely be heading back their soon enough! Wonderful little place. We sampled about 5 honeys, all with subtle taste differences. There were candles, honeycomb, moisturizers, lip balm and more. We were hoping for apples, but this is the second year that a late freeze wiped out the crop. We were not disappointed in our visit because we came away with some GREAT honey flavours.

UPDATE: After waiting two years, Hays has apples! All the varieties I purchased were as I remembered apples to be, from when I was a child. The flesh was crisp and juicy. The flavours were as they are supposed to be, and the skins were not like Kevlar. Bought some great honey from them last year. Also got on the wait-list for getting my own beehive from them. Ken and his wife a really nice and very knowledgeable and helpful. Ken was able to answer all my many questions about beekeeping. The hive I got from the a little while ago is doing great. Excited to enjoy learning more about beekeeping as we go.
