Brother's Supermarket Washington St. — Local services in Boston

As I am a visitor from Florida, here as an essential worker for Covid-19, I was highly disappointed with the service I received today. As i was standing at the meat counter to buy a whole chicken and have it cut, I waited for 5 minutes 2 of the men looked right at me 2x and then went to help other customers. When i video called my husband and explained the treatment I was receiving that is when one of those same guys finally asked me what I needed. At a time like this when racial tensions are high I think as human we should treat each other with respect. As a nurse I don't think any of these guys would want me to treat them differently because they did not look like or or speak my language. It is unfortunate that I will forever have that image of your establishment embedded due to the poor treatment I received. I have gotten my meats here for the past few years. Once, my meat was spoiled and I didn’t realize it until I went grove hall stop and shop. So, I was able to run right back to exchange. On 3/21/23 I spent $90.00 on meat and went home to separate the meat into sections and all the chicken was spoiled. I called and they asked if I could bring it back with the receipt smh.
