The Happy Paws family is absolutely wonderful! We stumbled upon them about two years ago, and boy, are we glad we did! Kai and her team aren't just dog walkers; they're dog whisperers that provide enrichment, structure, and fun on every walk.

Our pup, who's a bit on the anxious side, has truly blossomed with Happy Paws. His walkers give him the attention he needs during walks while allowing him to explore and socialize with his pals. Scheduling is a breeze and the daily photo updates are a bonus--we love nothing more than seeing his happy face on our phones!

When life gets crazy, the Happy Paws team is there to save the day. From last-minute walks to weekend boarding, we've always felt like they've got our backs. Not only are they so loving and caring for our pup, their reliability is rock-solid and they treat our home with tremendous respect.

In addition to the walks, the boarding service is a game-changer. Our pup isn't just kept in a kennel and watched over by a stranger while we're away, like most typical boarding services. He has enriching days that combine structure, fun, and monitored socialization with team members that he knows and loves. He always comes back from his stays with a wagging tail and we get regular updates throughout the overnight visits to keep our minds at ease, so everyone is happy :-)! Happy Paws is the best dog walking service in Southie! I was looking for a trustworthy dog walking service that would maintain the type of training I had been doing with my dog. I started using Happy Paws dog walking services in September for my 2 year old mini goldendoodle Otto who had never used a dog walker before and up until that point always had a human at home during the work day. Kai and her team of dog walkers (shoutout Steven!) have been incredible at supporting Otto and myself through the transition of using a dog walker with constant communication and advice. Otto was very hesitant at first, but the consistency of his weekly walk routine has helped him immensely. He now loves going on walks with his neighborhood buddies, has shown less anxiety/reactivity around other dogs, and walks so much better. Consistent dog walks have truly helped grow Otto’s confidence and social skills.

Happy Paws is more than just a dog walking service. They genuinely care about the well being of your dog and you as a dog parent. Prices are very reasonable, the app is super user friendly and the post walk photos are an added bonus that I didn’t expect when looking into dog walking services. I’ve been a client of Happy Paws Boston for a while now, and I can’t say enough great things about this company. My dogs are 10 and 7, and over the years I’ve tried many dog walking and boarding services in different cities. Hands down, Happy Paws Boston is the best I’ve ever worked with. First off, Kai (the owner) is incredibly organized and responsive. Any time I have a question or need a change in our schedule, she replies right away and takes care of it without any hassle. I love that she keeps her walkers informed and on task—there’s never a doubt that my dogs are well looked after. We have a dedicated walker for our dogs and I can tell how much joy she takes in her job.  It’s comforting to see how excited they get when she arrives, and I always know they’re in good hands. I have also used their boarding services which is in the walkers’ home, they pick-up and drop-off, which has been a lifesaver during busy travel times. They send me photos twice a day which is a real reassurance that everything is going smoothly. Overall, the care and attention my dogs receive is outstanding.
