First off I want to start off by saying the food here was excellent! We ordered the Me Espresso and Mango Shot for drinks, fried goat cheese for an appetizer, and the hot pepperoni and fig and pig pizza, as well as a kids meal. If I was rating the restaurant based on food alone, it would have been an easy 5 star experience. I'm not sure if we were just unlucky with our primary server but it was the worst restaurant service experience I've ever had. She would often walk right past our table and did not come to check on us to see if we needed anything. My husband asked for a refill and she took our glass but never brought one back, our waters also went underfilled throughout the entire dining experience. Then when our daughter's meal was brought out, they said the plate was hot and pushed it closer to her and she's less than a year old! Why would you set a hot plate in front of a baby? Her food was also incorrect but they brought out the proper food once we were able to flag down our server a bit later. We had to stop her again as she was walking by us for the check and boxes which also took a long time. Everytime we needed our server and asked for something it was a 10+ minute wait to get what we asked for. The table next to us also had the same server and we commiserated over how bad the service was as they were dealing with the same issues. I'm sad to leave such a low review given how delicious the food was but the service was too poor not to reduce the overall rating.

Stopped by for brunch this morning. Atmosphere was nice; sat in a large wooden booth near the bar. Open garage style doors allowed fresh air into the restaurant. Pretty crowded inside, and unfortunately the set up of the restaurant made the experience quite loud. Menu is extensive, including brunch cocktails and draught list. I ordered the chicken and waffles, which I have to say were delicious: boneless fried chicken breast sandwiched between two waffles. Waffles sat on top of hot sauce (I think Cholula or Franks) and came with real maple syrup and strangely blue cheese dressing. Also, a poached egg on top. My girlfriend ordered the breakfast tacos which left a lot to be desired. They didn’t have anything cohesive that brought them together cohesively, and the two “taco” serving is not really enough to constitute a meal. Not really enough chorizo or queso for the value. Overall, a good experience, but it is clearly tailored for the trendy instagrammable #brunch crowd, which is not really my scene.

I have had both wonderful experiences here, as well as subpar. The space is terrific-- two separate huge bar lounges, as well as a dining area with cozy banquette booths, all energized by a central dramatic fiery brick oven. Great venue for a private function.

They do make some excellent drinks here, such as the 'Persephone' -- a gorgeous refreshing vodka-based drink with a beautiful giant ice cube with an orchid frozen inside it. I also enjoyed the 'la Pina' -- a tequila-based spicy smoked pineapple cocktail. However, it can be hit or miss, and I had to send back what was supposed to be an 'old-fashioned,' because it arrived as a soda water with a splash of whiskey in it. Staff is sometimes hard to contact, because they are busy socializing.

Food is also hit or miss. You can't go wrong with the burgers, some of the pizzas, the cauliflower, or halloumi, or most of the apps, for that matter, but the queso fundido needs some adjustments so that it doesn't curdle. I don't have enough experience with the entrees or the healthy salad bowls to comment. The braised garlic greens side is delicious though, as are the addictive fries.

I really like this place, the energy vibe, and concept, and would recommend it for an after work outing with friends. I really want to love it, and think that it has...

Great restaurant for everyone--you can eat as healthy or as decadent as you want , the food is always good as is the service. They change the menu regularly and they always use high quality fresh ingredients. It may look like pub food, but it's definitely a step up from the pubs in the neighborhood. I organized a work function there and everything was perfect. It was setup hot buffet style, which was fantastic because people could get seconds and the food was kept warm. I am a very picky French person (and a foodie) and I was very happy with the quality of the food. Of note: the rosemary potatoes were “the bomb” to quote my coworkers, the steak tips were outstanding (nice smoky flavor and not overdone—amazing!) and the blondies—OMG, buttery and chewy, the best! They're also very good at accommodating allergies. They have a separate fryer for GF cooking! And all the food was clearly labeled. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for atmosphere is that the music is often too loud for conversation. Thank you, The Broadway, we will be back for more...
