I’m very disappointed with the service I received. I’ve been to this hair salon once before and the owner, I believe (Milena) was very friendly, attentive and professional. However, today I did not have the same experience! My hair looks as if it wasn’t professionally done. The lady that did my hair, (not the owner) was overly aggressive, kept yanking my hair and over processed my hair with heat (flat iron and hot comb). Furthermore, it appeared that she had an attitude because my head wasn’t “stiff enough” and kept saying “keep you head stiff”.. I was charged $130.00 which I believe was a lot. The rates were posted on chalkboard at the entrance of the salon, and based on the service I received; I’m still trying to understand why I was charged this amount. My hair is about 8/10” long, I got a wash& dry, flat ironed (no curls) & a trim. I’m utterly annoyed! Not that this matters, but I brought my own hair products, perhaps this was the issue? I have curly-kinky (3C-ish) hair and I haven't had a relaxer for over 10 years. Milena gave me a press and curl, and my hair was LAIDT! The best part for me? Not a flat iron in sight. I've been looking for a beautician who knows how to work a hot comb and curlers. She also pin-curled my hair before I left, which was definitely appreciated.

Read moreI would have liked to return but I will not due to my disappointing experience. I live an hour away and when I got here, the stylist had not arrived. Apparently she wasn't going to be there for another hour which ended up being an hr 45 mins.We all have cell phones and it should be common courtesy to let your customer know if you can't make it on time. Life happens. Another stylist offered to wash my hair but in the midst of the confusion, she colored my hair which I had not asked for. I only realized after the fact.
