I have become a regular client at Nurture Salon & Spa. After having the utmost positive experience getting my hair colored, cut and styled back in January, I can't imagine going anywhere else! The staff is most welcoming and friendly. The atmosphere warm and upbeat. Joanna impressed me with her professionalism and top notch skills. She knew exactly how to manage my thick, curly, Latina hair without hesitation. I explained to her what I was hoping to achieve and she got it beyond right the first time. I had requested a "sun kissed" natural looking balayage with a long layered cut. I expressed disappointment with past attempts elsewhere that left me with too blonde to brass highlights in my dark brown hair when I was leaning more towards caramel in my mind. Joanna took the time to ask me questions to understand and explain what she would do to accomplish exactly what I had hoped. The results came out perfect thanks to her! She was God sent! And her cut is high quality too. I highly recommend Joanna and Nurture overall! Thank you Susan, Julie, Joanna and the rest of the team for all that you do!

I've gone several times for cut / color and would highly recommend for that - the ladies are great at a great price. This review is for the eyelash extensions with Kat. I had a total of three appointments here, two of which happened. The first was great; she was super fast and they looked really nice. But then the lashes began to lose their curl over the two weeks before the fill, which is very unusual for me (I've had lash extensions for years prior to Covid). The second appointment was cancelled the night before, but I heard from Kat (who was sick) and she said she'd get back to me to reschedule. I texted her the day after the appointment was supposed to be and she stayed late to fit me in. My third appointment as cancelled by Nurture a couple of hours before, saying Kat was sick. They said they'd get back to me on a reschedule and it's been three weeks and I still haven't heard back. I ended up having to go somewhere else and paying for a full set. If you're looking for somewhere dependable (which you definitely need for lash fills), I'd recommend...

I went in for a trim on my bob. I always have the same haircut. I asked for an inch off and my curtain bangs trimmed. That was all I asked. I had reference photos of myself as I always get the same haircut. The woman who saw me, 30 minutes late mind you, starts HACKING away with the thinning shears. I did not ask for my hair thinned. At all. I then notice she's cutting the back shorter than the front so I speak up and say I like it all one length and she says "oh don't worry you'll love this". Okay, no. That's not what I asked for why are you dictating my haircut? I have the thinnest hair ever right now and ugly straight across bangs. I cried. They charged me $91 when I was told it would be $65 and I didn't even like...
