Pretty good chicken parm in a cozy, if uninteresting local place. - - - - - Came here on a Wednesday evening and the place was empty, which is always a little unnerving. But it was good. The guy there asked if wanted to go or to sit, I chose to sit. I ordered a chicken parm and diet coke, which came to about $15 before tip. The coke was cold, fizzy, and nice and "fountain-y". Honestly a superb soda. The sandwich came out after about 10 minutes. It was by no means the best chicken parm I've ever had, but it was solid. Bread was was a little soggy near the bottom/middle, but that's to be expected. It was otherwise nice and crispy. The sauce was tasty and the right amount. The cheese was also just the right amount and nice and stretchy. The chicken was good, but a little tough in places. I also got a couple gnarly, tendon-y bits, but that happens. It was nice and big, too, the kinda thing that if I wanted to could save them other half for later. Overall a solid chicken parm that I'd be happy to get again, but I wouldn't say come here to get it. The guy who served me was friendly. There wasn't much for him to do, so I can't say much more. The bathroom was nice and clean. The restaurant itself was also clean and pretty simple. Seems likea decent spot that locals would frequent but nobody would go out of their way to go to.

i wish i could give more pictures but we ate our food before i could have a photo shoot, we got mediterranean pizza and it was splendid, garlicky, feta was delicious, tomatoes cut nicely, spinach well dispersed, if you like thick pizza you might not be a fan but it hit the spot for us. i was delighted to find the jalapeño poppers are made with cream cheese, they were delightful. good reviews on the ribs from the rest of my party, coleslaw and mashed potatoes that came with were delicious.

Lou is a fantastic cook and Lisa is a wonderful server/front of house person. The L Street Diner and Pizzaria will be on my short list of stop whenever I am in Boston. The warm, welcoming environment and delicious food should put this little diner on everyone's short list when you are in the area. I have already 'favorite-ed' it in my Google Maps. I look forward to coming back!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank the incredible team at L St Diner and Pizzeria for a great experience on St. Patrick's Day. Despite it being one of the busiest days of the year, they handled everything with such grace and professionalism. The service was top-notch, polite, attentive, and efficient, even with the challenges of a large crowd, people being intoxicated, and others who were just Ignorant and Disrespectful about the rules The food was absolutely delicious, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to eat after the parade.

It’s rare to see such dedication to customer service in such a hectic setting, and I truly appreciated the effort they put in to make our evening so enjoyable. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for great food and a great experience, no matter the day or the crowd. Thank you again for such a phenomenal supper for me and my daughter! We...

If you have any kind of a palate and have your taste buds back from Covid. Avoid this place. Not only was it dirty inside but the walls had food that had spilled on them. We ordered eggs Benny and a cheese pizza the pizza sauce was bitter and the crust had no flavor. It was also undercooked We let them throw away the remaining 7 peices. The eggs Benny The eggs were poached properly but the ham was the cheap salty kind and the Hollandaise sauce was very salty and lumpy with a distinct chicken flavor. No kidding like they made it with chicken bullion and flour and maybe some fat. Butter or lard. Not sure. The potatoes tasted just like the can they obviously came from. The whole visit was unfortunate including the one server who couldn’t seem to bring our check for 20 minutes after we had quite obviously finished with napkins over our plates...
