Absolutely terrible customer service. Love the couch I got from here but other than that I would not recommend. I am from New York and had 4 leases there I was unable to transfer my leases so I was told I could start them over and reinstate my payments. Not only did that not happen but this place did absolutely nothing to help ensure it. The lady I spoke with was rude and did not seem interested at in all in having any work to do. Really disappointed I had to go elsewhere for the rest of my furniture because I loved Aaron’s in New York. Yes, I also called the regional manager and filed a complaint and never received a phone call back. I’m 7 months pregnant and just do not want to deal with it. I called about 3 or 4 times asking someone to call me back to get this figured out. If I didn’t get a bed and furniture elsewhere I would still be waiting on a phone call back. All my payments made on my other furniture in New York for nothing. Rude rude employees and not at all helpful. Super disappointed because the employee in New York were so awesome to deal with. This is what a joke this place is... She asked me if I wanted my payment date changed to Friday since that is when I get paid and I said oh ok sure that would be great! Then she says Yea well we will charge at $10 late fee than. Another example is: We ordered our couch online so we had to wait for it to ship to the store which they are supposed to Call you when they receive it. Well they didn’t I called on a Monday asking if they received it because it said on the tracking that they had. They had received it on FRIDAY! So It was sitting there for FOUR DAYS and no one called me. I also got washer and dryer online and asked about that and if they received it. RUDELY the lady says We will call you when we get it here. REALLY? Like you did about the couch?! Absolutely ridiculous! Oh and her name is Nene or something at this point I don’t care. I’m ticked I cancelled the washer and dryer and got it from somewhere else even though I had to pay more just so I don’t have to deal with them again! What the hell. Just so many other examples. Just do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. This place is a joke! Thank you so much to the regional managers who NEVER called me back as well. Read moreOne star because I couldn't choose negative Stars, the people at this franchise are the laziest and rudest people I've ever had to do business with. We went into the store and the customer service was blatantly trying to avoid doing anything and wouldn't even look up other stores nearby to see if they had the couch we wanted. They insisted that we HAD to go online and order our couch so we did, it says 5 to 7 days for delivery on the website. It's been over 2 weeks now and we were promised delivery on Monday, March 16th. When WE called to schedule delivery on Monday they told us our order didn't exist, so we called corporate and put a ticket through. Like magic our couch was in the store but they still refused to deliver and proceeded to laugh and say that they were "cancelling our order". This all coming from a Jeff and Michael Hall, who also claimed to be the owner of the company and he's really just Customer service... Personally I was a rent a center employee for 2 years and Know all the guidelines and standards for rent to own company's such as continental home center, Aaron's, and RAC.
