Dollar General — Local services in Bowling Green

This Dollar General, while convenient in location, it is oftentimes out of stock with various items. The basics are not a problem finding, such as toilet paper, milk, eggs etc.. but if you're wanting to snag some jars of goober, peanut butter with jelly mixed in, you're out of luck! Minor inconvenience, honestly.. Also, I recently moved here from a small town in Florida, and noticed that the prices for items normally a dollar in Florida, are priced at one and a half to two times higher at this store. Just mildly annoying, is all. A small suggestion, if anyone monitors the reviews on here, but I would have the persons working the register watch a little closer when entering cash amounts when a customer has them scan a code for CashApp.. several times I have gone in there to add money to my cashapp and have had the $1 fee taken out, leaving me with, for example, $19 instead of $20. Seems like the employees were working pretty hard to try and put stock up while manning the register. Boxes and totes full of stock items. Cardboard boxes and wrap laying everywhere in the store Need to hire a overnight duo to keep the store organized and stocked. The carts and trash blocked the isles and shelves. The shelves had lots of stuff out of place. I wish I had taken a picture. If I were the manager I would demand atleast 1 extra person just to do stock. I know enough money is made in that store to be a le to afford it. If things don't improve soon there will be no business. The Harvest festival is next week and I just hope you respond to this message. The Clerk was delightful and helpful. Here lately, we go to the Dollar General all the time. Everyone's pretty nice, except the lady with the purple hair. She is very rude and gets an attitude with you just because she has to do her job. Normally, she can be found indulging in her favorite activities, like smoking or lounging in the chair next to the beer and grocery baskets.
