Walgreens — Local services in Bowling Green

I had my dog's new vet call in a prescription to get it before Thanksgiving since it's absolutely necessary for him. It's also a controlled substance. My roommate drives and is off on Monday and went to pick it up since it was filled on the 20th, I got 2 texts. He gets there and the store is closed temporarily. No one I got on the phone would or could tell me why or when it would be open again so I called my vet and a different company's pharmacy to try to transfer the prescription. That pharmacy called and waited 20 minutes and got no one. So I called back twice and finally got an answer that they were cleaning the store and would open tomorrow! Why not just tell your customers that the first time??? I'm unwell and had tons of stress I didn't need today. How can you trust a store that closes with no explanation given when...

It’s clean and seems to be better stocked than most Walgreens. Most of the staff is also very kind but seem to be unknowledgeable on some things. They also had a new guy who was very kind but also new. The person that seemed to be the most unhelpful was the manager (I believe her name is Jolyncia) . A bit condescending and when it came to using coupons and rewards (something Walgreens promotes) was most unhelpful and acted like I was lying about coupons clipped on their app.

Very frustrating as I drove 30 mins to come to this one because it supposedly had everything in stock.

When you call and they put you on hold, and you hear that they can't answer your call because they are on the phone helping others, don't believe it, drive up there still on hold, get back to the counter, nobody in the phone. Or too busy to answer a call, the people in this community are elderly and need their meds.. please if you don't want to serve this community move...
