I stopped in last week to browse, as I always do when I'm in KY. Upon arriving, I saw a Heritage Softail that I was interested in. I had been looking for one, but wasn't planning to buy one that day. After seeing this bike, I decided that it was exactly what I was looking for. I waited for about 30 minutes, but only the girls at the clothing counter were interested in helping. I saw 2 men sitting in the corner who appeared to be salesmen. I approached them, but neither seemed eager to assist me. The younger guy, who I believe is named Landon, finally got on his computer and tried to look up information for me. Since the bike was just brought in, they didn't have it listed in their system yet. I understood that, but still wanted information on it. I asked if we could at least get the year model and try to run down a price. I walked outside and the young man followed. I assumed he was going to help me further, but to my surprise, he did not. Instead, an hour before closing, he walked away and started taking bikes inside the building. At that point, I went back to the clothing area and purchased my sunglasses, then left. The next day, I returned to try and find more information on the bike. This is when I met Steve. Steve was very nice and eager to help me. He told me the bike was not in the system, but he would get the information and call me, as the manager was currently in a meeting. A few hours later, Steve did just that, called me and gave me all the information. When I returned to the store the 3rd time, Steve met with me, took my information, worked on pricing for me, set up the test ride, and I ended up buying the bike. Steve was very polite, very professional and I was happy to work with him. At this point, Evan took over and prepared all the paperwork. Evan was also very nice and professional. While we were waiting on insurance and such to come through, Steve walked me around and introduced me to people in every department. Everyone else was super nice and congratulating me on my purchase. Outside of the first 2 salesman I encountered, this was a great buying experience. This store has great inventory, and great people, so if your in the area and looking to buy, go see Steve and Evan, you won't be...
Read moreI would like to share my experience with Harley Davidson of Bowling Green regarding the service and repairs performed on my motorcycle. I purchased my bike from this dealership and initially enjoyed my ownership experience. However, following an accident in April 2023, I encountered significant issues during the repair process.
After the bike was towed to the dealership, I was informed multiple times that it was ready for pickup. Unfortunately, upon my first visit, I discovered dents on the back saddlebag, which was supposed to be replaced. Instead of a replacement, it appeared that the dents had been merely hammered out, resulting in further damage.
Additionally, I noticed burn marks on the motor casings that were not present prior to the accident. When I raised this concern with the service manager, Shawn, he did not assess the damage and indicated that there was no proof it occurred during the incident, which I found disheartening. While he eventually agreed to address some of the concerns, the repairs were incomplete. He fixed one casing but declined to address the others, citing financial concerns rather than pursuing a proper claim.
Further inspection revealed rust on the frame and evidence of structural damage. While this was reported, the dealershipâs response was to allow the insurance company to determine the repair. They negotiated to straighten the frame and apply paint to mask the rust, rather than replacing the frame, which is now a safety concern. It appears this decision was reached to avoid appropriately deeming the bike a total loss.
This ongoing situation has left me feeling frustrated and concerned for my safety on this motorcycle. My experience with the dealership's service department has been disappointing, and I hope this review provides insight into my situation for...
Read moreI recently purchased a 2016 HD Softtail Slim from Bowling Green Harley Davidson and I cannot express enough how impressed I am with their exceptional customer service. From the moment I walked into the dealership, I was greeted with a warm and friendly atmosphere.
I want to give a special shoutout to my sales representative, Rob, who went above and beyond to ensure that I had a fantastic buying experience. His honesty and knowledge about the bikes were truly commendable. He patiently answered all my questions and helped me find the perfect bike that suited my needs and preferences. His dedication to customer satisfaction was truly impressive.
I also want to acknowledge Tyler from the service department. He was incredibly helpful in assisting me with getting engine guards installed on my bike. He also accommodated my schedule by rescheduling the delivery date.
Although I can't recall everyone's names, I would like to mention the sales lady who helped me select my bike. Being on the shorter side, I had some specific requirements, and she understood my "short girl problems" and helped me find a bike that I felt comfortable on. Additionally, the gentleman at the parts department was extremely helpful in finding the right engine guards for me. And lastly, I want to thank the sales manager for her patience throughout the entire process.
Overall, my experience at Bowling Green Harley Davidson was nothing short of fantastic. The level of professionalism, knowledge, and dedication displayed by the staff was truly remarkable. As a resident of Louisville, I can confidently say that the drive to Bowling Green was well worth it. If you are in the market for a Harley Davidson or simply looking for outstanding customer service, I highly recommend visiting Bowling Green Harley Davidson. You won't be...
