I had ordered a book 2 months ago, and I am still waiting for it. She had had the final book of the series in store that someone had ordered and she told me that if they did not come pick it up, she would sell it to me for five bucks. I just called today and asked when my book would be coming and she said it would be there within 10 days, I am frustrated because now she’s telling me I have to pay for the book again because she counted the book that she told me she was gonna sell to me for five bucks at that price of the book I ordered, now I have to pay another 20 bucks for the book I already paid for to be ordered . I am flabbergasted and confused to why this is happening. I offered to bring the book that she said she was gonna sell to me for five dollars back so I can just get my book that I ordered without having to pay an extra 20 bucks and she said that’s not how it works. A must for nostalgics. Go there. This is a novel experience store, pun intentional. Although it feels like an old library, new and different because it’s not at all like other book sellers today. If you appreciate anything about reading, writing, books or nostalgia, this IS the secret armoire door leading to another time. Step in, get lost. I’ve found difficult to find as well as contemporary titles that I just didn’t want to wait a few days to get- Cat Tales had it! They are priced alluringly, check them first. This is a nice used bookstore that also carries new toys, games, jewelry, and a variety of other locally made items. There are A LOT of books, so be sure to give yourself ample time to explore the whole store! There is not a public bathroom in this store, so, especially if you have kids, be sure to go somewhere else before you stop in here.
