DO NOT BUY FURNITURE HERE...My husband and I bought what we were told by our sales consultant Janet Santome ,a high quality made couch and love seat by Bernhardt. My husband and I purchased the 2 piece set for a total of $3,235.05.We use the set in out TV room, our children are grown and in their own residences , we have no grand children...just us at night watching TV.We purchased the Guardsman warranty plan which Havertys suggests for extra coverage.A little than 3 years, we noticed the arm collapsing in and the frame falling down, so much so that the screws or hardware was ripping threw the material.We rotate the cushions, and as 50yrs plus adults, we take good care of the set.We called and they set us up with Guardsman..yup..here we go...so a month goes bye..no issue with the pandemic happening....Tuesday April 28th, a man with 2 small red tool bags shows up....nice enough..hes just doing his job...he tips the couch upside down with my help..and proceeds to pull the covering under the couch off to look at the arm rest first.That was made with cardboard..yes...CARDBOARD...which completely fell apart.He took pictures....the frame..he said it was just the foam had moved...no not really..and he proceeded to try to STAPLE it back into place...which didn't work ..it fell back ..after he left and we sat down on it.He then told me that someone else had to come out and basically rip the material of the front of of my 3000.00 couch because there was piping he wouldn't be able to get back into place so they could fix the hardware that broke thru the material..you heard me right.I was so shocked by that..they will rip it apart to fix a piece of foam when you can plainly see its a structural problem..So when I questioned the technician about if this didn't fix the problem..then what ??...he said call again and we will come out again..lol. So basically, my couch is falling apart after 3 years..and I now have a continual problem with a couch that we purchased after we were mislead by Havertys,..How you may ask...by being told this was a high end manufacturer..the couch was basically done by hand...all wood..will last forever or until you dont like it any more ...No ..that was completely false and we were mislead. If I wanted a cheap piece of furniture....I would have gone across the street to RTG and bought something I would not care if I had to get rid of after 3 years..But we went to Havertys...a company that claims to have up scale furniture...and thats exactly what we were told we were buying by our sales consultant Janet. Read moreLet me start off by saying I usually don't EVER take the time to review something but this experience was so pleasing, I found it necessary to write a quick review. To truly describe my experience at Haverty's Furniture, I can sum it up in two words:

She was the DEFINITION of professional, classy, knowledgeable, and helpful. We have looked online and been to quite a few furniture places searching for the right bedroom set. Once we walked into Haverty's and greeted by her after we walked through the door, it seemed just extremely comfortable and the environment was just how it should be.
I'm a HUGE fan of customer service because I feel like it's a lost art in today's world and I just feel like people in general aren't as nice as they should be. So to be dealing with someone like this was warming to the heart. The set we found here ended up being about 100 more expensive than any other place we found here but that's because we opted to go with the more expensive mattress we found at the last minute otherwise it would have been around the cheapest set we found. She made myself and my fiance both compliment her professionalism, style, and everything about her to each other. We all 3 talked, laughed, and just had a good time together. It was a very comfortable and fun experience while purchasing something to that amount and that important. Every question we asked was answered fully with no issues at all. We walked out with a great, king size set, and a great mattress without paying anything down and our monthly payments are extremely reasonable.

Read moreBe ready to wait 3 months for your purchases. We've bought two separate times this year. The first was great, the second purchase is why I am writing. In January my husband and I purchased a nice bed and our experience was nice. Our consultant was helpful and not pushy. We ordered our bed and it was delivered about 10 days later. The set up was quick and easy and the bed (Sterns and Foster) is absolutely wonderful. Our second purchase was a bit more than a month later, Feb 20th. We purchased two love seats, a three person couch and a coffee table. We were told at the time of purchase that it would be 6 weeks before we could take delivery, and at first we almost chose something else, but decided these couches were what we wanted and decided to wait. We received the two love seats and coffee table with in two weeks. We've been waiting and waiting on the last couch. about April 3rd I received an email saying my couch was in stock!! Yippie! Finally, our family will all have somewhere to sit. The first delivery date was May 10th!!!!! I called customer service and had a long conversation to no end. I've called the store three times and still have yet to hear from my sales person or a manager. Somehow when I call at 10:30 am no one is in yet. It's now April 12th and I am trying to call again and the store phone won't ring. So that's prompted me to write a review. All together we've spent $13,000 in the Brandon Haverty's and while part of it was a good experience, I am concerned that when something is not right I can't get someone to call me back.
