DXL Big + Tall — Local services in Brandon

I’ve bought a few shoes and clothes from this location and I never had a problem. They were always soooooo nice and helpful. That is until you need to make a return. She didn’t want to return my suit because “hair on it” ??? I wore the shoes once around the house to break them in and get a feel for them and realized they were to big and uncomfortable so I didn’t wear any of them. I had already taken the tags off because I usually never return anything. When I walked into the store the associate assessed my clothes and gave a nice little giggle “haha these are not returnable” I’m still confused on why she thought that was funny or why she thought laughing at a customer is a good idea but that was when everything went downhill. They ended up returning my suit after I asked for the manager. The manager refused to return or exchange my shoes because of marks on the shoe that form when you walk in them. So now I have to go out of my way to ship them to there corporate office to try and get a return or exchange. After this experience I will no longer be shopping at this location or probably any other DXL. If I don’t have the peace of mind that I can return something if it doesn’t fit then I don’t feel comfortable...

Been shopping at Casual Male for many years for their extensive selection of premium clothing for us Team Big members. The stores themselves differ greatly on thier selection, availability and most important, customer service.

This location in Brandon reaches to a new level of satisfaction. First off the store itself is a treat to our senses, the layout is cozy and comfortable, the smell is intoxicating relaxing and then you top it off with a first class staff that will bend over backwards to make you happy

Unfortunately, I've been in stores in other locations that fall well below this benchmark location.

No matter how busy they are, they make sure to convey, that they are happy that you are there and acknowledge you when you walk in.

But not in the same manner as you get when you walk into a car dealership with 20 salespeople or as I refer to them, vultures circle their prey.

They make you feel welcomed and relaxed. Always very friendly and helpful. When I lived in Carrolwood, I would go out of my way to come to this location over citrus park.

People complaining about price ? . It is a specialty Big and Tall Store people , not Wal Mart . I found their prices reasonable and their selection good and they do have discounted items , plenty of them I drove 70 miles because the one B&T store in my home town basically only caters to the Gentry . I won’t mention their name but they have jacked up prices and are good for the Polo crowd not me and of course clothes like that are walking saunas in Florida . DXL is a lot more down to Earth and they do have formal clothing too. They had what I wanted and I went on a shopping spree and it nowhere near broke the bank . Their customer service is exemplary. A beautiful, hard working , knowledgeable woman named Marci waited on me and set me up for future deals . Probably will not get up there for awhile because I am a retiree with the wardrobe set for now but nevertheless I thoroughly recommend the...
