I'd like to give a shout out to Shala at Store 405 for the assistance in buying new furniture. My fiance and I are in the midst of closing for our first home and in need of replacing our 10 year old hand-me-down couch.
We started at lower rated furniture store and fell in love with a couch. I'd consider my fiance and I to be smart buyers and decided to check other places before buying the first thing that caught our eye. Our next store was American Signature Furniture.
This is where we met Shala. She was so incredible helpful and knowledgeable about couches. She said she's been doing this for a while and I believe it. She was getting into the nitty and gritty about quality of furniture, what to look for and how to check for that quality in other furniture, comparison of prices to lower and higher end furniture stores, and questioned us "How much do you want to be spending over the next 10 - 20 years?".
So after hammering her with questions, we left to mull over it. We then went to a higher rated furntiure store and checked the quality based on her recommendations. Low and behold, the quality was right on or slightly better than American Signature. The problem? The price was about 2 - 4x more expensive. We smiled to the sales associate and left.
We then went back to the original couch at the lower rated store and did the full point inspection based on Shala's recommendations and boy were we surprised. How basic, low quality, cotton ball filled mess of a couch it was. We were immediately put off. If we were 20 years old again and buying a throw away couch for a single bedroom apartment, fine. But this is for our home that we plan on living in for the next 10 - 20 years. So instead of having to replace a cheaply made couch every couple years, we ended up heading back to American Signature Furniture and buying from them.
I also want to shout out to Joe, Christian, and Liz. In the final hour, Christian was able to secure shipping to our location since we were moving out of state. Liz for assisting when Shala was unavailable on a separate visit. And Joe, the manager, stating if we had any issues with the warranty company to call him up and he and his manager will do all they can to resolve the issue.
I am not an interior kind of guy, but overall, Shala and American Signature Furniture with their knowledge and patience made the experience a lot better than the dread that I was expecting. We will have to see how truly well the furniture holds up, but if in the future I need more furntiure, I'll likely...

Actually we were gonna go through with another company, however we loved her so much and she was super informative we decided to go through american signature furniture. We decided on and ordered a couch on march 2nd. We picked a delivery date of the 15th. My boyfriend had taken off of work, they did not show nor were we told that they were not coming. The only reason we found out they were not coming is by us calling in on the day of. We were told the couch came in damaged. Okay cool no problem Let's reschedule. We then reschedule to the 25th (the soonest date available). I then take off of work. The 25th comes no one called us the day before or emailed or anything to let us know that the couch once again is not coming. There was no reasoning except for the fact that no one knows where the couch is. Once again. We RESCHEDULE i take off of work AGAIN. And we are told the couch will be delivered may 4th. My boyfriend reaches out a few days before hand and asks them if for whatever reason the couch is not coming to communicate with us and let us know so were not missing out on work for no reason. The only reason we knew it was being delivered is because they had emailed him, not called, emailed. And gave us a time frame of 10:30-1:30. So may 4th comes. We pull up the tracking "error" . Weird. So we call in. And once again no one can find our order or tell us what is going on. So I'm fed up at this point because we have been in a new house without a couch that we ordered over 30 days ago. I'm normally not one to write a bad review and i wish i could truly give zero stars, but wow was this place so unprofessional and uncommunicative. When i tell you my blood was boiling I went down to the store and had returned everything and we went with another company. Sucks that it had to come down to that, but i have never been so angry before. Read more6/30/22 update- American Signature told us our couch was damaged and missing one piece. We had to call to find out about this issue. Jamie never attempted to notify us. We had the option to reorder or cancel. We cancelled so we never have to deal with such horrific customer service again. Good luck if you choose to do business with this establishment. I hope Jamie is on the receiving end of this type of service one day. It’s amazing she still has a job.
We have had a really bad experience with American Signature furniture Brandon. We ordered our couch early December 2021. They incorrectly entered our delivery address so our couch would be delivered to the wrong store in the wrong state. Luckily we checked before delivery so we were able to notify American signature Brandon of the issue. It’s been well over a month and it’s nearly impossible to get in touch with Jamie, the store manager. When we call she is either with a customer, just stepped out or some other excuse. We never receive a call back when promised. This is a horrible customer experience. Once you place an order there’s 0 accountability unless you continuously call and stay on top of the issue yourself. It’s a shame because she is helpful when we are actually able to talk with her.
Update- I reached out to the owner who responded to this review. They were not able or possibly willing to help correct their mistake. Here’s their response- “Our team then reviewed the scheduler, but regretfully, do not have the ability to improve the date of the sectional at this time. Pick up is set for the earliest date of August 31st.” Disappointing
