I was very excited to have this store open inside the Branson Meadows Shopping Center. I had many decent conversations with the Owner Jessie in the prior weeks of him opening. I even went so far to offer him to buy some Gondola Shelving from me that I had against a flat wall in my back room and I cut him a great deal @ $100 dollars per four foot section. I even made several trips to his store with my personal vehicle delivering some of the shelving to his store. To start the whole story correctly, I dismantled some of this shelving in my back room of my store in the same shopping center. As I took the shelving apart I had to put each section of shelving back to back in my backroom to hold the sections up from falling on the ground, because it only had one floor support per side. This was not the original configuration of this shelving. It was taken off a straight flat wall with five shelves on one side and this was the exact same way Jessie was going to construct it for his use inside of his store. Once again since I had no other way to support these shelves once I took them off my existing wall, I had to put them back to back to hold them up until Jessie came and got them. There were five sections of two four foot sections of shelving back to back and so Jessie assumed that there were only 5 sections. But once they were transported to Jessie's store and reconstructed he once again had ten four foot sections. Jessie has argued with me that he bought only five sections of shelving and only offered me $500 dollars, he then offered me $800 dollars, because once he put the shelving in his store he had ten four foot sections. Eight of the sections are now in his store with his merchandise on them and also has two more four foot sections in his back stock room. This is a total of forty feet of shelving or Ten four foot sections @ $100 each for a total of One Thousand Dollars ( $1,000 ) I had two other gentlemen come to my store and buy forty feet of the same shelving today ( April 21st ) and they paid me $ 125 dollars per four foot section and were ecstatic. They went on to tell me that they were very happy with the quality of my shelving, because all they could find everywhere else was in very poor condition and mine was clean and not even scratched. So know Jessie refuses to pay me nothing ( 0 ) for my shelving and told me on Friday April 19th point blank to take him to court and sue him. Is this the way anyone should be treated, after I gave him a great deal and even helped him move some of it ?? All you have to do is go into his store and you will see for yourself thirty -two feet ( 8- four foot Sections ) of shelving on his sales floor with his merchandise displayed on them and once again two more shelving units in his back room. Is this the way to start a New Business treating your fellow store owners this way ?? I ask him again in this post to do the right thing and Pay Me for my Shelving.
Thank You Brian Owner Of The Made In The USA...
Read moreBUYER BEWARE!!! I really wanted to like this store, but their prices are insane, they want $45 for a pair of Levi's jeans and $30 for Levi's shorts, and these clothes are mostly returns- most are not new as they claim. I've gotten home and found blood in the crotch of bathing suits and gotten sick off of the expired food they sell- 90% of food on their shelves is expired (it looks like some dates are purposefully removed- a deceptive business tactic) and you're unable to return it. Every time I try to give them another chance I get disappointed. They recently posted a video announcing a "big sale," but what they didn't say in the video is the discount advertised at Mix-N-Save is applied to TARGET'S original price (from 2-3 years ago) and not their own price tag which is orange like the sales flyer (I attached the sale flyer/sign), it's classic bait and switch. They do not notify customers until they ask at the register why the prices were different than expected. It's another deceptive business tactic. They're the most expensive liquidator (of returned items) in the area. You can go 30 miles to Ozark or Harrison and find huge Overstock stores with amazing prices. Don't waste your time with this store!! But, if you do go there, check prices, Amazon and Walmart are cheaper on many things, check opened items (they are returns) and beware of expired food!! All sales are final!! AGAIN,...
