After moving away from the area, and before getting a new eye doctor I got an eye infection that prevented me from wearing contacts. When I contacted the Breese office to send my glasses prescription to my new doctor they made me jump through many hoops to get my most recent prescription faxed over. My new eye doctor couldn't believe all of the steps I had to go through. Then when they finally faxed it over instead of sending my prescription they sent a paper stating my prescription had expired. I don't understand why they didn't just tell me that over the phone during the multiple phone calls I had with them. Mind you the entire time this is happening I can't see to drive, go to work, or function. My son had something wrong with his eye, so we went in and was seen by one dr who prescribed some drops and asked us to come back the next day. I came back the next day to be charged another copay and then asked to come back again the following week! Read moreClarkson Eyecare in Breese, IL is a very good place to go for an eye exam and glasses! They are very friendly and thorough in the exam. They have a new machine that takes a picture of your pupils, which allows them to see different kinds of spots on the pupils that show if there are any issues in your health. Dr. Johnson is very good and thorough. They even took Tricare insurance for the exam.. I would highly recommend this eyecare service. I will be going back for future eye care....
