El Arado — Restaurant in Breese

I was not impressed tonight! The seating is awful. They have booths around the outer walls and table seating in between the booths. There isn't enough room for seating like that. You literally have the person's hair that's in the table seating on your booth table.. the customer service is nearly 0!! You have staff like a young lady tonight standing around playing on her phone! All while they are busy. It took 15 minutes to even get a drink order put in. Took 20 minutes to get an appetizer of guacamole. The food arrived shortly after that. The food is good. But drowned in cheese sauce. Food that's not supposed to be spicy ends up spicy. This time it wasn't impossible to eat. But in the past it has been. So all and all. We won't be back. There's a better customer service friendly Mexican restaurant in carlyle that delivers a great experience and the food is not drowned in cheese. Guzman's. Smaller but better...

WHAT HAPPENED????

This restaurant used to have great food, great atmosphere, great service.

I live bout hour away, my family was visiting relatives so we decided to eat a late lunch here.

Walk in , right away, spilled soda on floor, about 6 different tables had dirty dishes and food . The whole restaurant seamed dirty and run down.

The food tasted like they used dirty cooking oil to cook the food. Service staff was nice, but only came once to ask if we needed anything. The staff decided to mop floors behind us, while we were still sitting and eating.!! Really?

Went to bathroom on way out, again dirty floors, dirty toliet.

Sorry, never...

I didn't even get to spend a penny here to leave this. Was put on "hold" as I could hear the whole restaurant. I didn't mind that, I heard the gentleman working. What I didn't appreciate was being put on this hold for over 10 mins. My call dropped on my side, so I called back. Can't get through! It's been well over an hour now. I bet they think I'm still on hold..... shame. I really wanted to try...
