I visited your store November 23, 2019 to purchase a starter for my vehicle. My mechanics later informed me that the stater wasnât necessary. I was actually having battery issues. After my vehicle was âjumpedâ by mechanic, I drove my vehicle to your store to return the starter to your location November 24,2019. When I purchased the part, i used 2 methods of payment ( credit and debit). This was explained to Racheal who at the time was processing my return BEFORE she ever started the process. Instead of Racheal processing my return exactly the way it was purchased ( split tender), she chose to tell me that her register would determine my refund method. Again, I reintegrated the payment was made using 2 methods. She then became condescending and rude telling me that the decision of processing my total refund would only be made to 1 of the payment methods used which was my credit card. I then explained again to her that, this was unacceptable and I wanted my refund processed in the initial method of payment. She continued to speak to me as if I misunderstood the process of a return method. When I suggested she call the help desk or someone who could assist with the process, she decided to finalize my total return to my credit card only. She then got on the phone with someone from the help desk and while explaining what had transpired, she stated âshe acts like she doesnât comprehend the processâ (referring to me, the customer) ! I felt disrespected as a paying customer. I felt as if she judged me as a person who was trying to commit fraud ! The person from the help desk ultimately agreed with me as the customer and explained to her that it was HER error. Because of the banking systems being down (per help desk), I was then very RUDELY instructed by Racheal to return to your store at 9am November 25, 2019 to meet with her so she could reverse and resolve my refund method issue. When I arrived to your store (9:10a), Racheal was not available. Instead, Lisa, the store manager assisted me. Fully making Lisa aware of the situation, she was VERY polite and understanding of my concerns with my refund method. While Lisa got on the phone with someone who could confirm the reverse and resolve of this issue, I noticed Racheal sitting in her car outside in the parking lot. As long as I waited for Lisa to confirm things, Racheal sat in her vehicle looking inside the store avoiding entry. My intentions were to purchase a battery for my vehicle from this location ( because the battery was the actual part I needed), but because of the treatment I received by Racheal, I decided to spend my HONEST earned CASH with OâReillyâs across the street. I regret to inform you that although Iâm not making purchases with your company every single day.... Auto Zone WAS my choice of auto part stores.    Read moreI went to Auto Zone to have them check my battery which the sign in the window says they do for free....After speaking to a man inside he tells me that he can not check my battery unless i take it out of my car, charge it, and bring it in not attached to my car because his reader that you can use when the battery is in the car is broken. He suggests I go to advanced auto parts down the road. They read my battery in under 5 minutes. Personally, if you have a sign in your window offering a service and your machine is down, perhaps you should post another sign. Then Advanced Auto Parts was out of the battery for my car so i return to Auto Zone because i've had good experiences there before. I was waited on by a different man who said they had the battery i needed in stock. It took him 15 minutes to find this battery while not saying anything to me but answering phones while another man sat there and did nothing. After finding the battery he tells me he will have someone else put it in my car. He doesn't ask anyone to put it in. So i'm standing there for another 15 minutes and he finally comes back and asks the man at the next register if he can put it in. The man says he can not put it in because he doesn't have the time. How do you not have the time if you helped a lady find windshield wipers. It's not a 40 minute wiper process. Sorry to ask you not to stand there and assist me. He then says they are short staffed and its only him and two other guys. The store wasn't that busy and it wouldn't of hurt for him to put my battery in. I can happily say I ended up at Pep Boys, was in and out in 40 minutes, got a 72 month warranty on the same battery as well as saving 42 dollars on it. Also, I would like to note that two gentlemen who were also at Auto Zone also ended up at Pep Boys and they were complaining about the service as well. I was very dissappointed in the service i received at auto zone and will no longer be a customer there nor will anyone in my family because they were appauled at the lack of customer service.    Read moreI was there last year for some oil, but I drove my old car than I had it sit on the parking lot of my appartement for long time than I had it just jump so when I was there inside for about 20 minutes and then get out my old car didn't start, so I tried to jump it with an old jump starter but didn't work then I went inside for some help and ask the for some battery jump the first thing she said was if I have driver license, why she ask for a driver's license at the store I just didn't made any sense, how ever there was an other guy with an angry face who dicide to help me, we went outside where my car was and he tried to jump it but he couldn't I new my battery was ok, it just a good battery started, but he said they didn't have one, the only thing he recommended me was to take off the battery bring it inside for checking and then get a new one there, I coulncou believe the didn't know what to do help me, so I went walking to my appartement than was only few blocks from there get my other car came back jump my old car leave my new car drove my old car home and came back walking to get the other car, that was a bad sperience for me I dicide to do not go back to that store again, thankfully there are some other auto parts...
