I am writing this review to THANK this team at Abrahams house, we have 2 skilled nursing facilities in Bremerton (Bridgeview Care, and Emerald Bay Care) they gifted over 100 + residents gifts for Christmas. Karen coordinated with Tina and her team. It was last minute but they came through, and took the time to individually wrap each gift. What a beautiful thing to do. I am blown away, and ever so grateful for the team at Abrahams house.

Abraham House is remarkable especially when the Lord himself request that you go there and your needs get met and the presence of God meets you there and the Hospitality is beautiful with amazing prices that are affordable !

I love Abraham's house I love its message and the way they help people. Since I got into the new place on callow the owner operator is much happier with the location and the fact that the rent is about half of what it used to be. I've been a resident in Bremerton since 1982. I've always loved callow avenue. It's a lot of years of nothing but empty storefronts. Now there's only a few left that are empty. Abraham's house works for God which I work for him as well. They have a chapel upstairs that they didn't previously have. They have free Saturdays for people in need. I had some money and I had my mother with me so I bought a really nice kind of credenza thing that matches my new bed she had $120 listed on it but she happily took $75. Then I bought the next day two end tables for either side of my bed plus the coffee table / storage compartment all of dark wood and quality worksmanship. She had $50 listed on the storage cabinet coffee table and $20 a piece for the end tables. She gladly accepted $20 for both of the end tables and then when I came back to pick them up I realized that the coffee/storage table was a matching piece and her husband gave it to me for $20. When I was there previously buying the furniture to hold my TV credenza thing I think it's called it's really cool has two little drawers on the bottom and two drawers on either side that hold files. It's in perfect condition high quality dark wood. it's pretty heavy but it's worth it and it easily fits my brand new 55-in TV. I told her that I was moving into a new place and I would be back on Saturday that she had her and her helper and she gave me a great set of dishes complete with plates two things of silverware and a set of nice tall glasses. along with a set of matching towels and hand towels and wash towels. I highly recommend this place your message is worth spending the money it pays off tenfold as in everything God is involved with. My name is Nathaniel James Gregory sr for...

It's just a big giveaway that favors the biggest, youngest and fastest people. Not a resourse to help low income with particular household needs like other furniture banks.

I didn't realize everybody went in at once and that there is no limit. So ya have to be quick. No carts and no assistance and nowhere to put the things you pick out. If you set them down to look at something else they will be grabbed, ya can't turn your head for a second let alone pick out something big. A lady's purse was taken. Too many people it was just pandemonium. The experience was not positive at all. You can't set something down right in front in order to pick something else up to look at it. People grabbing anything you don't keep in your hands at all times. I found some great things but the experience was depressing so much greed and taking other people's things and watching older little lady's struggling looking around for scraps.

I have a respiratory problem a couple other people physical disabilies so walking up and down stairs to car back n forth several times was not a option.

The staff will not watch your items. I asked, they told me I had to take my armful to my car and then come back.

Basically, since it's limitless, It's a free for all race to grab things as fast as you can then run to your car put them in and then race back in for another armful. It's hard to get something you actually need. If Abraham's house had that intention to help people truly in need a different system needs to be set up. People were there for the limitless free stuff not because they needed anything. How many just to grab as much as they can and turn around and sell it. A complete disadvantage for disabled in anyway or older folks. I advise to bring a bag or somebody to help you hold your things I don't know if they allow carts. Hopefully you don't get knocked over...

Got to the dome extremely early to be sure I would be able to get items I needed. After waiting hours I went and grabbed my kids from my mom who was not staying. When I came back in security told me I was not allowed back to my seat and I had to sit in the back. Yet there were plenty of other people leaving and going right back to their original seat with no problem. They were supposed to be letting people with disabilities first, which is always the right thing to do, however the people that were actually going first were the last to arrive mixed in with the people that needed the extra help. They said they would call the cops if a child was lost. At least 3 kids got lost and they made an announcement on the mic when asked why they didn’t call the cops like they said we were told “oh well the police is already here” so why did you threaten people? Said police were too busy trying to control the crowd and not paying attention to the kids. This was the most unorganized event. After waiting from 8/9am until 12 I was finally able to “shop” the “12 semi loads, million dollar worth of stuff” there was absolutely nothing left. I watched as people took 10 beds, 4 couches, multiple TVs, and plenty of other items. All while staff watched even tho we were told we could not take excessive amounts of stuff to make sure everyone was able to...
