I never write any reviews, I usually give good word of mouth, but after this purchase, I will be speaking my mind, and passing the word. In keeping things simple, I purchased a used 07 silverado 2500 hd duramax truck, and traded 2 vehicles in. And buying a used vehicle, I'm aware of buying as is, which I inspected fairly well, to the best of my ability, along with being told the vehicle had been thru inspection at the dealership, along with finding out repairs had been done at a sister dealership. So I assumed things had been looked at, wrong, or they just didn't care. So to make a long story short, I liked the truck, even though I felt it was well overpriced, but it's a hard to find model, so after negotiations and taking low ball offers on my trades, and paying too much in my mind for the silverado, I purchased the truck. But leading up to the purchase, I asked about a couple oil leaks, also about a bad power steering pump that the bearings were bad in, and whining terribly, and I was told they were ok, and dealer wouldn't do anything, also, not a big deal. During this discussion, I was told their sister dealership had just installed a new fuel injection pump, and wasn't doing anything more, along with the truck needed nothing more. I also asked if I could take the vehicle and have them look at it, at my expense, which I was told NO. So I took their word all was good, and purchased the truck. On the way home, engine light comes on, and after driving back country roads, I quickly learned the front shocks were slap wore out. 2 days later, the truck began leaking fuel from the repair of the new pump, or area associated with the repair. So the first weekend of having the truck, with a friends help, I change the fluids, install new shocks, which one was so bad, it was pouring fluid out, and came apart in 2 pieces after removing. WOW. Also had to change all 4 upper and lower ball joints, which 2 were shot. So first weekend of ownership, I had to spend a few hundred dollars in immediate repairs. Now the fun starts, the key fob doesn't work, replaced the battery, still nothing, had another dealer look at it, with no luck besides bring it in and leave it. Now back to the oil leaks and fuel leaks, I payed a shop to inspect it, and I'm told the turbo bearings are leaking, and turbo needs replaced, transmission hose needs replaced, power steering pump needs replaced, and whIle in there, they will find the fuel leaks and fix those also. SO after paying top dollar, around 24k for this truck, and a few hundred the first weekend, now it's gonna be a few thousand more. IN my eyes, that should not happen immediately if the truck had been inspected, or good business. BUT again, I bought as is...lastly, I did mention the issues afterwards to my sales lady, and I called the sister dealer about the fuel leak, which got me nowhere, besides that any chevy dealer would warranty the work they did, which I went by my local chevy, and was told I needed to bring it back to who screwed it up. SO enough venting for now, my truck is going into a reputable shop next Monday to fix everything right, and a few thousand dollars later, I hope so. And after this experience, along with purchasing previous vehicles at this dealer, and friends and family purchasing there also, it...

Read moreI dropped my vehicle off on Aug 7 for warranty work & tammy was my point of contact. For approximately 4 weeks I got excuse after excuse why my car wasn't being repaired. Mechanics quit or mechanic injuries but always an excuse. I finally contacted the warranty company and peach ford hadnt so much as filed a claim for warranty work. They did do something either to the transmission or the rear differential although I dont know which as I have receipts for both. After 4 weeks tammy informed me i probably needed to take my car somewhere else because they probably werent going to fix it. When I made the appt they had plenty of mechanics and needed the business, according to Tammy, but they got behind so the service manager took my file and locked it in his office refusing to allow anyone to work on my car. It took 2 weeks before I found a shop to take my car. I went to peach ford to pick up the car and sure enough, Tammy had to get my file from a man in a glassed in office. He was sitting at his desk and as tammy walked out of his office he looked over the computer directly at me lifted a can soda or whatever and guzzled it down staring at me the entire time. I was flabbergasted i have no idea who this man is know nothing about him except i had left a couple of voice-mail asking him to return my call but he didn't and now hes staring at me with such arrogant satisfaction and dislike i cannot imagine why. Did i offend this man somewhere or does he hate women i just had no clue but he certainly had animosity towards me. Tammy got to the counter and i asked if he was the service mgr she stated yes would i like to speak with him. I didn't want to be in the building with him much less come face to face with the guy that kinda scared me to be honest. My car was pulled around i got in and realized i had been charged for transmission work. I went back to speak with tammy and thats when I noticed she was very nervous. She apologized gave me another receipt for differential service and I left. My car stayed at peach ford from aug 7 to sept 13 and we spent over $3000 for vehicle rental and $260 for some gear oil or transmission flush even i know was a means to make some money off of us. I don't know why i was treated this way or why the service mgr seemed to have a serious dislike for me but they dont have to worry about me going near that place again nor would I want my daughters...
