It’s been a few years since I pierced my ears and I found out about Exotix through reviews online and social media. I was very impressed from the moment I walked in. I was immediately greeted by Jen, who gave me the paperwork to fill out and Brian was ready for me. Brian is awesome! Started taking measurements of my ear to make sure the piercing I wanted can properly be done to avoid any issues with wearing or healing in the future. I learned that one ear is slightly different from the other based on the curve of the cartilage. I learned so much just from speaking with Brian. Brian shared his years of experience and I must say, I was not surprised based on how he handled the piercing and the way he showed lots of care and explained in detail what he was doing from the moment of taking a new needle out of the package to thoroughly cleaning the ear to sharing the process step by step. Brian went over all cleaning procedures with me and even prepared me on what to do if I begin to feel soar pain in the next few days. Brian is caring, hilarious, knowledgeable, personable, and brilliant in what he does. Brian and Jen both went over the cleaning process and explained how to keep a schedule when to clean and what to use. Jen is a sweetheart and was excited to answer any questions I had and made sure I’m comfortable to call the shop or message her with any concerns I may have. They are the absolute nicest people I've ever met in my life, I went to go get my first ever piercing since being a baby today. The lady at the front desk was extremely nice and talked to me as I was waiting. We had a nice conversation. And the man who pierced my nose was extremely nice and calming, I was very very nervous and thought it would hurt so bad and he calmed me down and told me it would be nothing, he went over exactly what he was taking out, and showing me how everything was sterilized in bags before proceeding to open them for my piercing. The place was nice and clean, and they have amazing COVID-19 Precautions and procedures. I will be going back in 3 to 4 weeks for a check up, as well as getting the other side of my nose pierced. I have been recommending Exotics to everyone since before I can remember because I always heard such amazing things about Brian and Jen! Now that I finally got to meet them both, I will continue to recommend them to everybody! Jen is so sweet and kind and the best person to work with when you have questions and scheduling an appointment. She's so funny and personable, and honestly just the coolest person to talk to and easily become friends with. I thought I was being so annoying when I called with questions but Jen was so nice and caring and talked to me on the phone and messenger and never blew me off like some other shops do. Brian is also so sweet and kind and an absolute expert on piercing and care. Brian allowed me to show him a picture for reference, and even took a picture for me with the dot on my nose so I could compare it to my picture. He is extremely professional and understands what his clients want, and he will show you everything he is using and doing all inside the packaging. I can't say enough good things about Exotix.
