This review comes a little late for numerous of reasons that you'll see in my post. I went to Posh on a Friday afternoon, it was Christmas Eve wknd, about 1pm. I didn't leave Posh until 10 mins to 7. Yes, that is not a typo. 7 PM!! I did not have an appointment, I'll admit, I came in as a walk in. It was not that busy in there as a matter of fact I was braided up by 2:30pm! The girl that was doing my hair was friendly, but still learning. It just upset me that other stylist heckled saying they would have been done with a sew in in 20 mins, but you were comfortable having a new clients sit there for 6 hours. I am a very understanding person and know things happen so I tried to give them another shot. About two weeks ago, I went to the shop one evening and they were closed, but someone was in there doing hair. When I noticed they were closed I went back to get my phone so I can get the number off the door. The stylist came to the door and assisted me with making an appointment for my 12 yr old daughter. Her attitude was HORRIBLE, but me being calm and nonchalant I ignored her. However, when I got back to my vehicle my daughter advised me as I was walking out the girl was making hand gestures to her client as if she was annoyed by me. Safe to say I did not show up for the appointment and will never step back in that place. These girl except for the assistances whom were nice need an attitude makeover. I don't care how much of a BOSS you think you are you will get no where treating...

This all stemmed from her verbally telling me a wig would be ready a few days after the service I ordered and that she would give me a call. I tried to play it cool that day and give grace, and choose another style even though that meant me spending an additional $500 dollars that day. I was disappointed but Troyes not to let it get the best of me. Please keep in mind this was after I had waited for 35 minutes for her to open the salon. My appointment was at 9 and drove 40 minutes.
Itās been over a month and I tried contacting as I never received a call (via text and phone calls) and received no answer. After 30 hours received texts messages after midnight.
When responding to say I just wanted my money refunded it was a huge deal and I was finally told I would have to wait until she sells it. After telling her that was unacceptable and that would like my refunded immediately, she stated fine and that it was too early and hung up in my face. First & foremost, I had to book last minute due to my hairstylist canceling on me at the last minute and I was able to book a same day appointment online through the site prior to the salon opening. This same day appointment was the day before my birthday & I was even able to squeeze in a dye & trim to my appointment. The owner Danielle started my hair that morning immediately when I came inside. Even with all her staff being off, with the except of her assistant helping for an hour, she managed to take great care of me. The cherry on top was her going the extra mile to provide me detailed education tailored to my haircare & provided recommendations about proper maintenance of my hair follicles going forward. I was more than satisfied with the my wash, deep conditioning, permanent dye, trim, and silk press with curls. Today officially marks 3 full weeks that Iāve had my silk press & through all the unexpected rain & self protection on my end, I can fully attest that my hair is still holding up! I still receive compliments! š My 1 hour commute was indeed worth it and I highly recommend Posh...
