I now consider myself a Wegmans groupie. I’ve been shopping here for awhile. I love their fresh cryovaced Chicken Wings. I think 30 come in a pack and they’re very meaty. You can choose organic or regular. I can honestly say that Wegmans has the best fruits and vegetables with a large variety to choose from. They have a wonderful fresh Fish Department and custom Meat Department . Wegmans has a large organic section and a regular section side by side. You can decide what price point you want to spend. They sell boneless short ribs which are so meaty and delicious when braised. I’ve bought them several times. Sometimes they put them on sale and it’s cheaper than ShopRite. Wegmans also sells large quantities of ground beef, pork tenderloin, brisket, steaks and other meats for large families or a party. They have a Butcher Department if you want hand cut Meats like Steaks and Chops. They have an entire section of Prepared Foods for anyone who doesn’t like to cook or is pressed for time. You can just pick it up and go. In the front of the store, they have people making homemade Pizza, and there’s a Food Bar with prepared Wings and things along with a Bakery section where they sell all kinds of artisan, breads, pastries, and cakes. There’s a Cookie and Pastry Bar too. They also have a great Cheese Department. They sell cheeses from all over the world, and they have people standing by to answer your questions or help you with a selection. They also have a nice Deli Section. They have pre-sliced meats if you’re interested in making a charcuterie board or just picking up some extras, they sell different grades of Prosciutto, including Prosciutto di Parma, which is out of this world. They have wonderful Olives, Roasted Peppers, fresh Mozzarella, Feta and more. I love their own brand of homemade Raviolis. One of my favorites is Cacio e Pepe and during the fall, pumpkin Ravioli, or Pumpkin Green Gnocchi. Believe it or not, they put a lot of things on sale. My suggestion is to download the Wegmans app for coupons and discounts. You can also find interesting healthy recipes. Every week there are many specials and sales. This store gets very, very busy but it’s definitely a place for foodies like myself. Everything is neatly displayed. The produce department is great! The sell homemade Soaps and Natural Products. Wegman’s is very casual, and they’re into sustainability. The staff is very friendly and helpful. This Wegmans also has a wonderful Beer and Liquor Department right in the store. They proof everyone even if you’re over 40. If you’re like me this will be your favorite...

Quality of food is good for some products. However, there have been a few times where I'd be hand-picking green beans and would find mold growing on some of the green beans. Don't get the bean sprouts here; I've bought better and fresher bean sprouts (among other produce) from HMart in Edison or the city. The asian aisle obviously is nothing compared to HMart, or PhilAm, but it's kinda ok when I can't drive out to Edison or the city. For the price of asian products and some of the seafood, you're better off going to HMart. And if you want a bit of "exotic" meat (e.g. pork belly) they dont sell it here.

As someone who used to work in customer service, the customer service is a bit lacking. No one smiles, and people look unapproachable; maybe it's because I go in the early morning and people haven't woken up enough to deal with human interaction. I've been to the customer service desk, and I had an interaction with one woman where I felt like she thought I was lying, and she just couldn't be bothered with. I immediately regretted going to her, and felt like my refund wasn't even worth dealing with her. I should've just walked away when I got resistance.

I stopped getting prescriptions done at the pharmacy. On more than one occasion, I've waited at least 10min with no else in line, and no one bothered to help me. Not even a "We'll be right with you in a few minutes". A few times the people behind the counter would glance in my direction and pretend to not see me. One one occasion I waited 15min, and they helped someone else who just showed up in line. They've also switched out my medication with something comparable without telling me. When this happened, I asked one woman why it was different, and she thought I was crazy (as If I didn't know what my own medication looks like -rolls eyes-).

I had one cashier who noticed I got some asian-y snack. She told me how her grandson enjoys asian snacks because his GF eats them. But she mentioned how weird it was because they weren't asian, and how the food is just weird. i grew up on asian food, so I was a little peeved to hear someone think that asian food is weird and that her grandson was weird for expanding his tastes. Seriously?

I've only been in NJ for a little over a year after moving from MD, and was initially excited to find a Wegmans. Clearly, the majority have had great experiences...

I recently moved from New York to New Jersey and was excited they had a wegmans here. Since finding out I shop there all the time. When I tell people how much I spend there they are always shocked as it seems everybody has the idea that they are over priced i think you guys seem reasonable on pricing. I go there on Sunday to shop as its my only day off. But everytime you guys have such a good fruit selection as well as everyday groceries. And top it off u can buy wine beer n liquor there. That being said I have gone 3 times since this pandemic and 1 st time you guys offered sanitize wips for carts and made a in door and a out door as well as monitored how many people come in at a time . I thought that was great being i am an essential worker and I know how hard it can be to maintain keeping it clean with everyone always coming through the door. I saw you guys have the line to line up to check out labeled and monitor that as well. Then you take care of your workers by having the red line at the register for personal space. However as mention I love shopping there but I came in today to find you guys stepped up your game agian by having it when u check out u don't even keep your own cart as the cashier has a sanitized one ready for your stuff after you put it on the belt and you have a chain that must only be lifted by cashier . And as mandatory you make sure mask is worn. I just want to thank you guys so much for making me and others feel safe to provide for our love ones and our self at this time !! Keep up the...

A big clean store with loads of fresh food, including produce, fish, meat, and readymade, not to mention a bakery with just-baked pastries, cakes, and bread. I appreciate the store-branded options for greater value, the deep aisles of canned and boxed goods, and the large frozen sections with cheap pizzas and the like. For comparison shoppers there are high quality items here and unique brands you can’t find at competing stores, and the prices are toward the lower end relative to Whole Foods (though slightly higher than Walmart). Compared to the bottom rung, however, Wegmans has wider brand selection to supplement wine and spirits, as well as a higher grade of fresh selections, like cheeses and sliced meats. It can get crowded during peak hours, but arriving early means tons of room to avoid apathetic cart drivers. There’s usually convenient parking and the store doesn’t shank on labor - workers and staff are highly visible and they don’t appear to cut corners on hygiene, shelf stocking, and cart replenishing. That makes the overall experience easier and translates into better value for the price points.

This supermarket offers full service in every department and has a large selection of various organic foods/beverages too. The prepared foods section, coffee bar and bakery have plenty of delicious offerings. The grocery prices may be higher to some shoppers, but the food is fresh and you can shop for hard to find items that other grocery stores do not carry. The sit down café area upstairs (there is an elevator) is wonderful for taking a shopping break, working on your laptop (plenty of electrical outlets), social meet-ups, etc. and microwaves are provided. The store is very clean (especially the bathrooms), handicap accessible, very liberal operating hours (6am-Midnight 7 days/wk) and Wegmans follows Covid friendly protocols.
