I usually don’t write reviews because I understand that things can happen, but since this has been an issue more than once, I decided to share my experience
I have been a long time customer of this store for many years and have purchased numerous items from your there over time. Unfortunately, I recently had a very disappointing experience that I feel compelled to share. My daughter, who was seven months pregnant at the time, ordered a sectional sofa with the hope of having it delivered well before her baby arrived. It took four weeks for the sofa to arrive, and when it was delivered, the delivery team simply dropped off the pieces and left. Within five minutes, we discovered that two parts of the sectional were different heights and could not be attached to each other. We immediately called customer service and the store to report the issue and requested that the delivery team return to pick up the defective sofa, but we were told to contact customer service instead. Three days later, a technician came to inspect the sofa and confirmed that it was defective and that we should receive a refund. However, when we returned to the store and spoke to the manager, as well as followed up with customer service, we were told we would not receive a refund and instead were encouraged to select another sofa. Unfortunately, there was only one sofa in the store that my daughter liked, and ordering it would take six more weeks—by which time she would have already had her baby. We ultimately selected a different sofa, which was approximately $700 more, and I paid for it because I had brought my daughter to your store expecting a smooth shopping experience. Instead, the situation caused her significant stress during an already difficult time.
After this experience, I returned to the store and purchased a twin mattress. While we were selecting a mattress, one of the customer representatives/managers assisted us. I explained that I wanted a medium mattress, and he recommended the one we ended up buying. After two months of sleeping on this mattress, my 12-year-old daughter began experiencing back pain. We took her to the doctor, and they couldn’t find any underlying medical issues. We eventually realized the mattress was the problem. It is far too soft and uncomfortable. I called the store today and spoke with the same salesperson/manager. He was extremely rude over the phone, dismissing my concerns and saying things like, “This is the mattress you chose, and your daughter tried it out,” and so on. I explained that lying down on a mattress briefly in a store is very different from sleeping on it every night. He confirmed that it was a “level 1” soft mattress, which I would never have knowingly chosen, as I have never purchased a soft mattress before. It felt as though we were pressured into buying something unsuitable.
He then told me that because I didn’t purchase their $250 mattress cover, I’m not allowed to exchange the mattress. I bought an organic mattress cover myself, but I was never informed that buying their mattress cover was a requirement for an exchange. I paid over $900 plus tax and delivery for this mattress, and this policy was never clearly explained.

Read moreAfter originally purchasing an overpriced sofa and loveseat, there were issues with the wiring, stitching, and staples. Under warranty, I was entitled to replacements. To handle the problem, my first appointment was scheduled with a manager. Once I decided on the replacements, I made an appointment with that manager. Since that initial appointment, I was not informed that it was necessary to make any further appointments.
For the last two visits, I was not able to resolve the issue because the manager was not in the store at the appointed time. Having to speak with a different manager over the phone, she miscommunicated with the initial sales manager, making the problem more difficult to resolve. On my last attempt to finalize the purchase, I was not able to get the necessary support, for I was asked again if I had an appointment, which I was originally not told I needed. The manager that was first assigned to take care of the problem was difficult to work with, for once again he was unavailable.
On my last attempt to get the items I selected, and was all ready to purchase, I was informed that I needed yet another appointment. His tone in the matter was very unprofessional. At this point, having to deal with so much hassle, I refused to leave until the transaction was completed.
With an inappropriate tone from the sales manager, I was rushed through the process. There was also a problem with the agreement about the sales price and free delivery, plus removing the originally purchased furniture. When the new furniture was finally delivered, my table and chairs - which I was told would be removed as well - were left behind.

Read moreI chose to get a new mattress, box spring, & frame from here due to the fact many other furniture stores did not have anything in stock since of the pandemic going on. I was upgraded from a queen to a king therefore I needed a new box spring. I ordered these three things with George who was extremely nice and showed me many options & received a text letting me know it would be delivered on Friday. I was super exited! The delivery guys showed up asking if I have a box spring since I needed one with the frame I had. I informed them I ordered one but they had no record of it on their paperwork. I showed them my receipt & they told me to call the store when they opened since it was before business hours. I called them & they told me it was on back order. I reached out to George to confirm what day it would be delivered since the delivery guys left everything else & he told me he was reaching out to his manager. After speaking to his manager he said they were expediting it since there was absolutely NO communication saying it was on back order or that it wasn’t coming with the mattress. If that were the case, I would’ve waited to get it all delivered at once. I was extremely pleased with how George handled it, but today is Saturday & I never received a text with the delivery time. I had my boyfriend who was sitting home all day waiting for them to show up call the store & apparently the box springs were sent to another store so we are still waiting for it & hopefully it gets delivered tomorrow. I understand times are crazy & things are on back order, but it is easy to communicate with your customer about what’s going on instead of leaving them in the dark.
