The store is aesthetically beautiful, with wonderful little treasures. And the staff is kind and friendly. But like most antique places, people put the price on the sentimental value over the items true value. Everything is over priced and I could see it turning into a museum rather than a store if they don’t become more reasonable.
Edit: responding to the stores response, just wow… pointing out my faith and chastising me for not being Christlike??? Take a look in the mirror. That is completely out of line and unprofessional. My comment is not harming the store, I’m giving my honest opinion. If you can’t handle that, then maybe you should do some self reflecting. The only person harming your “reputation” is yourself. And I’m not upset by you not selling me those cups. Goodness, they are just cups!!! And honestly, I don’t understand why you wouldn’t want to sell me half the cups when you wouldn’t be losing any money if you kept the remaining cups the same price. Additionally, a business savvy mind would’ve taken the opportunity to up the cost of the remaining five cups and gained more profit afterwards, because let’s be real here, you are more likely to sell a set of five then a set of ten. Now, in all fairness, the real reason I’m upset is by the fact that I walked around for an hour with a baby trying to find a few gifts within a budget (a reasonable budget for used goods) and found nothing. It’s also not the first time I’ve been in your store and come away with nothing. Makes me wonder how many others like me have walked away from your store empty handed. Others should be aware that they will be spending a pretty penny on USED items that look like you picked them up from thrift stores and garage sales… and you should be aware that you will go out of business if you keep treating your customers this way. I’m disappointed by your gaslit response and will not be coming back. … also, you spelled my name...
Read moreI am the person who bought the HELLO KITTY TOASTER after someone left a bad review. I found out today about the problem that I was being accused of leaving a bad review. I walked in there today 8-22-24 to explain to you that it wasn’t me. She ignored me and treated me like trash still accusing me saying I asked someone to leave a bad review. The review has been up for 2 months and I haven’t even had the toaster for 2 months (06/26/24). How would I have left a bad review before I bought something. I think it was very unprofessional of her to not even apologize to me and this is the first review I’ve left on a business I’m only leaving it because I think she crossed the line. I was hoping I would get an apology but I didn’t and I’m really sad because it really was my favorite store. It’s a shame that you made a mistake of falsely accusing me of something I didn’t do and don’t have the sense to apologize. If the family vendetta was as bad as you say I would have never walked into your store. For a business owner who doesn’t care to really keep costumers and fix what you did wrong than I hope other costumers look...
Read moreThis is a cute little thrift boutique. As an avid antique store dweller, I have to agree that many things in this shop are overpriced... especially in comparison to other compareable stores. I find it odd that the prices were so high for Brigham City. I have had much better success in antique malls in Texas, SLC, Kaysville, Lindon, and Orem.... All much more expensive areas with similar competion. I think most furniture and linens were fair and could have good appeal if that is what youre in the market for. Decor was just seemly expensive for being second hand and often, not antiques, labeled by brand, or given an approx manufacture date.
I had a slightly odd interaction with the owner, or I believe she was the owner. I over heard her chewing out her staff which made me uncomfortable. The staff seemed a bit disheartened, which was understandable and sad. It could have been a one time thing, but it definitely left a weird impression. If you're in the area, this could be an interesting place to stop by just to browse. I would reccomend other shops if youre in the market...
