Idle Isle Candy — Local services in Brigham City

My father is in the hospital and may not make it to Christmas. I came to Brigham City to help my Mother shovel snow and take her to the grocery store. She had sent me an article about how President Trump received candy from Idle Isle. She was so proud of the local business! She only wanted to go to the grocery store and Idle Isle as she can’t walk well with her hip replacement. She wanted to look at all the candies and get a box for Dad. As she was trying to look the store clerk very rudely told her she was not allowed to look and said she needed to get in line behind the man that came in after us. The store clerk continued her rude remarks and it was all I could do to try to help my Mother make it a positive experience. I will never ever buy anything from this store again. I recommend to all others that they do not need to be treated so disrespectfully and can buy candy from other local establishments. I was appalled at the way my Mother was treated and hope that they go out of business. I have lived all over the country and never seen or experienced such horrible...

I absolutely love Idle Isle Candy! These chocolates truly might be the best in the world. Their chocolates are second to none, and their almond cream is most definitely world-famous. Everytime I'm in Brigham City, I stop in and purchase at least a pound, if not more. I love how they offer free samples of anything you want, no questions asked, before you purchase as well. This lets you try out a lot of things, but in the end, I end up always getting the same thing: Almond Creme Toffee! Definitely don't pass up this opportunity if you are ever in town. And furthermore, if you end up loving them, they ship their chocolate anywhere in the world and the shipping fees are very reasonable as well. Also, when you visit the place in person, to the actual store, you will get some amazing customer service and a lot of small, home grown, hometown hospitality as well. I love the customer service...

I used to love to go to Idlewild but after my trip this afternoon I'm sure I won't be going back. Something is very very different in there filling in their chocolates. It seems like it all has a marshmallow texture don't like it very much nor do I like the flavor of it. The chocolate is still good but dislike the feeling in all of them that I bought. Not only that the little gal behind the counter had a snotty lousy attitude that I didn't appreciate. It makes me sad because I've been going there for years but I live out of town and haven't been able to go as often as I would have liked.
