First impressions (opening week): store is very large and well stocked with a variety of products. However, customer service fell short, especially for the grand opening. There was a girl standing right inside the door, presumably to greet customers. She did not speak nor even make eye contact upon my entrance nor departure from the store. I crossed paths with numerous employees during my time in the store, and not a single one acknowledged me. A few of them towards the back of the store were complaining about having to be there. This was my first time in a Burlington, and I was quite impressed with the sheer amount of product that they have. The least well stocked department was toys, though there was a nice variety amongst the stock that they did have. Read moreI came to your new location in Bristol Virginia to look for accessories for my 3-year-old daughters Easter I arrived at 9:52 p.m. after looking on the internet and called and was told the store hours for 8:00 to 11:00 on Saturdays but yet when I pull in and get out and walk up to the door apparently they were closed not only that but when I tried to call customer service they still said that they were open. I understand that times may be different for Easter Sunday but this was SATURDAY! THERE WERE NO SIGNS SAYING THAT THEY HAD TO CLOSE EARLY NOTHING EXCEPT STATING THAT THEY ARE OPENED FROM 8:00 A.M. Today, Nov 12 2024, while I was waiting in line at the cash register, I witnessed two employees from Burlington , 2 women, harassing a customer over a return. Their behavior was loud, intimidating, and completely unacceptable. They even dared the customer to shop at the neighboring TJ Maxx instead, clearly not welcoming that poor customer anymore.
