Target — Local services in Bristol

I went to the Bristol, VA Target today only for the Buy 3 household items, receive a $10 gift card. I was going off of what the Target app told me was in the sale and the price range for the items. I intended to purchase Bounce Dryer Sheets (price range for sale $1.99-$9.99 - I picked the $5 one), Downy Dryer sheets (price range for sale $4.99-$9.99 - I picked the $4.99 one), and the Puffs plus lotion tissues (price range for sale $1.99-$11.69 - I picked the $1.99 one). After picking these 3 items within the price range and the sale, I take my items to checkout. Upon checking out I receive my total. I asked the cashier about my $10 gift card and she said, “For what? You don’t get a gift card.” I said the 3 household items I’m getting are under the buy 3 household items get a $10 gift card and showed her the screenshotted items from the app stating the sale and the price range. She then goes and get a manger. I explain this to the manager and show her the pictures from the app and the manager then says to me, “Can you not read? These items are in the sale, but you need to get the most expensive ones and you didn’t so no you aren’t receiving a gift card.” I’m astonished by this remark and how rude the cashier and especially the manager are and then again show that the items I’m trying to purchase are indeed the correct ones for the sale with the price range listed on the app for the given sale. The manager then gets a sales paper and flips to the add and says, “No you are wrong and I’m right. These items are in the sale but you didn’t get the right priced ones, so you don’t get the gift card.” After trying to explain what the app shows and trying to receive this gift card I was fed up. I ended up leaving and not purchasing the items since they would not honor the sale that I had proof I was within. I honestly don’t think I’ll be returning to this target after these...

This particular Target is really bad. I don't think it gets enough business to support it's self if that makes sence. The shelves are either empty or very low. This is a lot of pilfering in the cosmetics which that happens everywhere. I go there to purchase items that are exclusive to Target or only at Target and a one or two other retailers. The product I go there specifically to buy is never there. I really like the Pixie by Petra range at Target and lately the shelves are very bare. I also go there for the Boots No.7 line and yep you guessed it. An empty slot where there should be products. Again the same with Vichy. Empty. The last 3 times I went to Target I came out empty handed. I was in this store yesterday and was highly upset when I saw a whole end cap of 4 different rows of Abingdon Falcon shirts for sale near the sports equipment on the back end cap by the bicycles & NO John Battle shirts at all or any other Washington County Va high school shirts for sale!! None whatsoever in the store. I looked for them & none to be found!! I find it ridiculous when Target is literally not even 5 minutes from John Battle High school & they don't sell nothing but Abingdon shirts!! So I guess to Target that no school matters but Abingdon in the whole county! Target I know parents from all schools shop in this store. But for this reason this parent WILL NOT shop here anymore!
