I recently came back into my hometown and there were certain places that I had to go to to eat, since I cannot get them in Colorado. Bramble was one of these places, however, we usually went to the Jenks River Walk Brmable location, the Broken Arrow location was not built yet. However, this time I decided to try the Broken Arrow Bramble location.
The service was phenomenal; My waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu, she checked on me frequently and was very kind and friendly. As soon as she greeted me she asked if I wanted to start with the cinnamon roll - I really wish I did start with the cinnamon roll, I feel like I missed out on something special.
The food is very good and exactly what I remembered. I ended up getting the breakfast chorizo tacos. The Chorizo was marinated perfectly - I didn't really even need to add the hot sauce. They have plenty of fun breakfast cocktails, but this time I opted for cold brew coffee. The portion sizes are on the bigger side and I ended up having to get a to-go box.
The atmosphere for the Broken Arrow location is where my review fell. The Broken Arrow Bramble is in the same building as a sports bar called "Shakey Jakes". Even when I was trying to make this review, Google Maps Thought I was at Shakey Jake's and I had to correct it to let it know that I was at Bramble.
The building is new and has a modern feel with high ceilings, modern white walls, hanging greenery and dark wood beams and pillars. There's also a beautiful outside area with hanging warm tone lighting. However, the center of the restaurant is a circular bar with multiple flat screen TVs that were playing the sports channel. So although the idea for the atmosphere and decor is Chic ,it still has a bar feel to it which I personally do not think goes together.
All in all, Bramble's food is delicious and creative, the service at both locations are amazing, but if you are going for a fun brunch date and want more ambience then I highly recommend going to the Jenks...
Read moreAs a former restaurant manager, server, and cook I can say that up to this point I have had good service at BA Bramble. I live in BA and take pride in supporting local businesses, but today will be my last at BA Bramble. Today, I had family visiting from out of town and could not wait to take them to BA Bramble for brunch. We were a party of 5, so I knew the wait would be somewhat longer on a Saturday morning. after seeing many 4 tops tables being seated with parties that came in behind us, I suggested to the hostesses that maybe we pull a chair up to a 4 top for us. She nodded and I walked to grab a drink from the bar while we continued to wait. Approximately 20 mins later more tables of parties of 3-4 persons were being seated, so I approached the hostess stand to ask why. She then told me it is a hazard to seat 5 at a 4 top. I worked in the restaurant industry for many years, and it if is a tight fit I totally get it being a hazard, but there was ample room. Then a table of 6 left and a part of 6 was sat at that table. They were there 45-50 mins after we had arrived, so I asked why we were not being seated. I was told that a party of 5 cannot be seated at that table since it can hold 6. My family members were furious, so I recommended we leave and go somewhere else. I recommended Main Street Tavern since it is my haunt, and they now serve brunch. We were seated immediately at MST, but I was extremely embarrassed and kept apologizing to my family about the way were treated at Bramble. I find it sad that I I WILL NOT be returning to Bramble, and hope this review finds its way to their upper management. FYI, we did speak with the manager on duty, and received an apology. It felt like it was half-hearted, and given because they had to...
Read moreAs someone who has worked in the restaurant industry, I deeply appreciate the challenges of running a great establishment, and I always try to be an understanding and supportive patron—especially when it comes to restaurants that offer gluten-free options. I was hopeful about dining at Bramble, but unfortunately, my experience fell short of expectations.
While I’m grateful that the menu includes gluten-free items, I found it quite difficult to navigate as someone with dietary restrictions. Several items were either incorrectly marked or not marked at all, leading to confusion. Thankfully, our server was very knowledgeable and clarified that both the bacon and breakfast potatoes—listed as gluten-free—actually were not. This kind of inconsistency can be risky and is something I hope the restaurant will address.
I ordered the Cowboy Omelette, which was just okay in taste and fairly small in portion. Since the potatoes weren’t safe for me to eat, I substituted them with fresh fruit. Unfortunately, the fruit was not fresh at all—it tasted borderline fermented and was very hard. I couldn’t eat it, and I was surprised to find there was a $3 upcharge for the substitution.
All in all, I paid $18 before tax for a mediocre omelette and inedible fruit. In my opinion, the value didn’t match the price. On a positive note, the atmosphere was enjoyable and the restaurant seemed popular, so clearly it resonates with many guests.
I don’t usually write negative reviews because I understand how impactful they can be for local businesses. However, I felt this feedback might be helpful—particularly for those who rely on accurate gluten-free options. I hope Bramble takes this as constructive input and continues to improve, because I believe it has...
