UPDATE: October 21, 2023- I brought the vacuum cleaner back to return to Brookfield since I couldnāt get the price match. Moj at Guest Services was so easy and helpful. Moj was so helpful, I know I wouldnāt have had the problem if they were working the first time. On October 7, I bought a Dyson on sale ($299) through the website and had the Target shopper deliver to my door via Shipt. I called the Glendale Target store when I saw I didnāt get the sale price and was charged the full price (nearly $500). Guest Services at the Glendale store said no problem, I didnāt have to return the item, I would just bring in my receipt and they could issue the refund but that Iād have to come into a store. On the phone, guest services seem to confirm the sale price even though the sale had ended. So I was at the Brookfield store and explained the situation and showed them my receipt. Brookfield Guest Services said to me: how would I know what the sale price was? I said donāt you have the lowest price listed for this item for the last 90 days or something in your system? She scoffed- no we only can price match for 14 days. Good I said, i bought this vacuum 10 days ago. Then she says she wouldnāt even know how to do what Iām asking without the box with the bar code even though I have the receipt. I said, so I should just return the item. Yep, she said, and dismissed me. I left very upset that now I have to go home and bring the vacuum in to return it, even though itās all unboxed and used. We don't have a Target store, but I have visited Green Bay's stores. I have to say that this was the most organinized Target I've been to. I was in there for 3 hours waiting for my partner, so I had plenty of time to look through every part of the store. Everything was neat and tidy, there was a lot more to choose from in the clothing departments, the departments as well, and everyone seemed very helpful. Even the food selection's had a good variety. As I was checking out I asked the nice man who was my cashier ( I believe his name was Having )if there was any place good to eat , and he happily asked a co- worker who was just as nice and friendly to give me a few suggestions. she was extremely helpful and I wish I would've caught her name. I seen at least 5 or 6 employees there help their customers/ guests while I was there. Up here, you walk into a store and you can hardly find someone in a Younkers, or a JC Penny's to check out your purchase, let alone help you find something in the store. Be proud of your store, and even more proud of your gracious employees who make it the store in your community what it is. Years ago I worked in retail and it's not an easy job. It's nice to see people that still really care about their jobs and their guests in a large chain store. First of all, I scan all products to check prices and to see if they qualify for the special offers and also to see if the shelf labels match the scan price. Lately I am finding the shelf scans are showing a different price then what the Circle scan is showing. Iāve had to take photos to prove to the cashier what I should be charged. Last week alone I found 5 our of every 10 products were showing significantly different prices. Today, I was scanning items I was purchasing and making sure they qualified for the bonus gift card of $10 for Health and Beauty products over $40⦠I had over $50+ worth of qualified items, but at the check out, it only said $38⦠I was sent to the customer service to prove my purchases were qualified. At first they were only looking at the receipt and not what the scan was saying. No customer should have to go through this kind of aggravation to make a purchase.
