I've ordered from here twice, so I feel it's time to leave a review.
Both times, I ordered takeout, and they got my order right, so I have no concerns there.
The food was decent, but it wasn't worthy of 4 or 5 stars given the price, which I find quite overpriced. If they lowered the prices on their pizzas, they would likely attract many more customers. For instance, when I ordered extra sauce, the price increased significantly. I'd have expected a small bump, but not $1.50 for double sauce on a small 10 inch pizza. Just to give some comparison for reference, Dominos lets you order extra sauce for free, and Pizza Hut only charges $0.99. The second time, I didn't get extra sauce, and as expected, it felt like there was barely any sauce at all in some spots, just cheese and bread. Personally, I probably won't return because of that.
Aside from pizza, I did try the nickel nuggets since I saw someone raving about them in another review. They weren't what I expected, mainly because I felt they barely put any (parmesan, I think?) cheese on top of it like the pictures advertised, and also because they just didn't have the taste or texture I'd have expected. They were just... sub-part. I think their other appetizers would probably taste much better, though I won't be confirming that theory (unless they lower their prices, of course, then maybe).
The place itself was a nice, clean environment with friendly staff. I wish...

We attempted to do the 30in Challenge. Which they have a poster for, and found recommended other places- so I called 3 separate occasions to confirm we could come in and do the challenge and win it. Every phone call confirmed and said come on in. (But, spoiler alert, they don't really do the challenge anymore).
We came in and they only could make 1- 30in at a time (we had two teams that wanted to do it at the same time), and they tried to make it and couldn't make a 30in. But they were kind enough to serve us two 16in pizzas for our two teams competing for the challenge. Both teams PUSHED through and finished their pizzas under 1 hour, but we didn't really get any form of reward that was on the poster, and even though it was technically less pizza, they didn't even give us the option of trying to do more to complete the challenge(and I really had to negotiate to get the meal for free even if thats what was originally promised. Other than our tip). So- if you're looking for the food challenge, maybe don't it here.
But other than the complications, they were really gracious staff, fun, and accommodating to our pizza needs- which was really delicious.
Thanks Glass Nickel for trying and still giving us a great meal! :) I just would probably not over-promise to customers something you can't deliver - and overcommunicate...
Read moreFood is good (4 outta 5), but absolutely horrible customer service. I am a longtime customer, and if it wasn’t for them having one of the most unique pizzas that I love, I would never go back because of how many mistakes they have made on my orders. Just tonight I ordered one of the unique specialty pizzas, and they messed it up by adding the wrong toppings to it. How do you mess up your own recipe? I called the store, got put on hold after I explained what occurred, and then the unapologetic manager said they’d remake it and it would take another hour to get it delivered again. So, a total of two hours for them to deliver One Pizza the way I ordered it. No credit offered, no apologies besides the basic “sorry”, just a flippant attitude. I think I can do without their pizza and go with another restaurant who knows how to treat the longtime customers. The pizza is good, but not good enough to cancel out the horrible...
