Sunset Playhouse — Attraction in Elm Grove

I attended the Blithe Spirit play on Sunday, November 5th. The entire cast were AMAZING!!! The best play I have ever seen!!! Every cast member gave their BEST performance, which made the play so enjoyable. They obviously love what they do. Thank you to all the Directors, cast members and other staff involved, for all your hard work. ABSOLUTELY A FANTASTIC JOB! The Sunset playhouse theatre employees/volunteers were very pleasant and greeted everyone with a smile. Any seat is perfect and it was very clean, had easy access/exits for handi-capped guests and easy parking. I highly recommend Sunset Playhouse for an enjoyable and memorable evening with your loved ones or just by yourself. I WILL attend again! THANK YOU...

Grand hotel not so Grand. Our first disappointment at the Sunset Playhouse in many visits. We were expecting the usual outstanding performance at this lovely theatre in Elm Grove only to be disappointed with a musical that had no “pizazz “ and musical numbers that kept us waiting for the usual big production numbers. There’s a reason that this show from 20 plus years ago is rarely done. For the first time ever we actually left at intermission. Admittedly this is a subjective opinion. Others may like it…but it wasn’t for us. Looking forward to another trip to this lovely venue with a better show selection...

Just went to the sunset playhouse for my first time and discovered a gem. The playhouse itself was delightful, comfortable and very well priced. We saw the play Miss Holmes during a matinee and we're delighted by the incredible acting of the cast and were entertained thoroughly. We weren't sure what to expect at first and were pleasantly surprised. We will now be keeping our eyes on the sunset playhouse and becoming often as they have a tremendous playbill during the year.
