Jordyn did an AMAZING job on my curls. So happy to finally have a true Deva Curl professional in the Danbury/Brookfield area! I’ve had a handful of Deva cuts over the past 10 years but never found a Deva stylist locally I could trust like the stylists (artists really) that they have in the NY salon. So for the longest time I have been cutting it myself and occasionally driving to a Deva stylist in New Haven which was a real PITA. Jordyn is talented, sweet, pleasant, patient - she explained everything she was doing and why. She set me up with the proper Deva Curl gel (had no idea I’d been using the Deva Curl gel for my hair type) and unlike many other salons, she didn’t leave me under the diffuser to the point that my ears were red and burning. Best of all, the cut she did is fantastic, easy to style and looks beautiful even when I just let it air dry. Thank you so much!! Update: I've had my hair done twice since Covid hit. In February 2021, I had my hair done by Nicole. (Sadly, Robyn is no longer at the salon.) I already knew Nicole is great because my older daughter had been to her. All I can say is she knows how to cut curly hair! I love the color she gave me and she cleaned up my hairstyle. Then, I had my follow up last Saturday and was taken care of by Jordyn. Nicole was out of town, and my hair was in need of a cut and color. Jordyn is fabulous as well! Not only did she give me great color, but she gave me a new style which I absolutely love! I have always been hesitant to change my hair, but after telling me what she had in mind, I am so glad I let Jordyn style my hair. I feel wonderful!

Robin has been my stylist for two years. She took the time to get to know me and my style. She is very knowledgeable about the science behind hair color, and how to match a cut with your facial shape and features. Not to mention, she is just a lot of fun to talk with! The new salon is bright, comfortable, and impeccably clean. Trixie's really is a great place to go when you want a professional experience at a reasonable price.
