Florida Makers Mercantile — Local services in Brooksville

The fact that this business treats certain customers so poorly and is still around is puzzling. I am bewildered.

I would have picked up my item but they CLOSED their doors and tried contacting ONCE to remind customer to pick up. When I could pick up the item I had paid for, they said it’s too late and I cannot get the item now. They lost my order and they no longer carry the life cycle item. I’m not buying it, nor can I recommend this business to anyone if you need a handmade item, there are PLENTY of kind Etsy dealers.

Perhaps changing your name is in order… if you want to say “ “local” makers mercantile” that is awfully misleading when you cannot extend good customer service to locals in BVL.

I wouldn't even give this place 1 star, let alone 5. The owner, or young girl in the front, has NO personality what so ever. She had this distinct look on her face when I walked through the door as if she was judging me which made me feel uncomfortable. Customer service is very important when it comes to building clientele. Your customers are the reason you have a business at all.

Word of advice; Wipe that awful look off your face and try treating people with kindness and respect. You 1000% lost my business this along with all of my friends/family and whoever else asks about Florida Makers Mercantile. This was the first and the LAST time I will step foot into that low energy...

We adore this place, was bummed to see its store front go, but excited for the new direction they are heading in! We had multiple orders placed several times, and they have always made it clear when product was able to be picked up, and held on to it for longer than they probably should have, with how forgetful I am. Not only did they create a wonderful product, they made sure to provide an overall amazing customer experience, from making the item all the way up to delivery of final product.
