I just don't know how to start.... It's a nice place with great tasting concentrate. Prices are fair... Buuuuuuut after my second visit I am left contemplating not returning.... Got two 7g pre ground one was as expected. The other was 67-76% cut up leaves.... Took it back because although I'm not particularly picky this seemed out of hand... Was greeted warmly by the receptionist who was quick to get a manager... The manager whose name escapes me, mostly because of my flabbergastnation of the situation on a whole... Anyway he arrives and the usual banter about the reasons for me being there commences... After claiming that it's not thaaaaaat much leaf and being rather condescending and defending the clearly inferior product. And impling it's my fault for not purchasing the more expensive options for flower, and that if I wanted quality I should turn in that direction.... Like dude I'm just looking for a smokeable option... Not the bottom of a trim bin.... As someone who smokes to reduce anxiety this experience was just strange.... If you don't want stems, leaves and seeds buy the whole flower... And that's from the manager himself... So not sure what to think.. I'm not really mad. ... Just baffled that it's my fault for complaining about a clearly lack luster offering... And then rationalized it with well everyone does it.......Yes I was reimbursed. ย ย ย Read moreI will not be returning to this location after today. I walked into Surterra Wellness today to pickup my online order. My instant issue debit card didn't work because they disabled the swipe feature and made it chip only. So I went to the ATM and couldn't take any money out of there either, only to check my balances.
I walked back up to the counter thinking I had forgotten something on the desk and I told the lady that it wasn't working there either and to forget it.
I walked out of the building and sat in the car to immediately call Surterra (there is a history of using debit cards with them) to file a complaint. The manager of the location walked out and started yelling at me while I was sitting in the car, I got out and told the manager that I was tired of having transaction issues with Surterra which were on their end. He told me to leave or else he was calling the Hernando County Sheriff's Office, I told him I was already on the phone with Surterra filing a complaint against their transaction system, and now him.
Because my car was running, the dash camera was on. He was caught on dash camera doing something he shouldn't have. As soon as he heard I was filing a corporate complaint against him, he advised me that I was banned from this location.
He banned me because of a disability which is against the law.
EJ at Surterra had already submitted a formal complaint, and I have forwarded the dash camera video to an attorney whom I will retain for legal action...
ย ย ย Read moreOf all the dispensaries I have visited, this is the first one where you have to order at check-in, where there is only one person working, which creates a feeling of being rushed to order, because you are in essence, holding up the line. It feels more impersonal, less private, and slows down the entire process. I hate it.
Besides that, I have been pleased with their pricing and product. They have never been out of ground flower when I need it, regardless of the day of the week. (I'm talking to you, Trulieve!)
Most associates are friendly and helpful. A couple of the supervisors who will remain unnamed...not so much.
Update July 4: Ian assisted me over the phone with a persistent issue. Pleasant, friendly and helpful. When I arrived at the location, two very friendly associates greeted me and signed me in, then a helpful associate rang me up, and I was thanked by multiple associates when leaving. A+.
PS: I Love your BOGO sales, and how you mix up the products on sale. Thank you.
Update November 12: Associate "Meeshie" (spelling? ๐คท) is in the wrong line of work. Rude, confrontational, and just generally unpleasant. I've changed to another location to avoid having to deal with her misery ever again. ๐๐
