Love going to St. Julien Park. It has something for everyone; baseball, softball, tennis, basketball, soccer? bicycling, walking, running, fishing, plenty of picnic area, frisbee golf, numerous doggy bags and disposable covered trash bins. They just added an RV camp grounds. The park is beautifully maintained, plenty of lighting and you never know when you might see a bunny or two. People are respectful and it's a great place for just about everyone. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars because it lacks a dog park, although it's great for on leash strolling or jogging with you four-legged best friend. The staff is pleasant, always smiling and happy to answer any questions. I personally believe it's the best recreational park in the area with nature dutifully respected. I just wish they had an enclosed area for dogs to socialize and play in. I must admit my dog loves walking the trails though. Read moreSplash pad here really needs some work, I've been a few times with my kids and the splash pad never sprays out water like it's supposed to. Maybe they could clean it every few weeks there the water comes out of the holes, I assume it is probably calcium or lime build up clogging it. Has awesome potential with just a little more up keep.
