T.J. Maxx — Local services in Brownsville

Only reason I am giving it a 1 star is because of one cashier, I don’t know her name. I’ve been ring up by her twice now and the two times I had used my gift card to pay. The lady just takes away the gift card and throws it under the counter without even checking the receipt if it still has balance on it. The first time I used my gift card I know I still had balance on the card, and I even asked her and she said no, once I saw the receipt I went back to tell her it still had a balance of 10 dollars. This last time that she ring me I payed with another gift card and I just knew she was going to do the same thing again, and yep she did. I still had a balance of $61 left!!! She then takes the card from under and gives it back to me. I’m starting to think that she does this and takes the gift cards for herself. Buyers beware, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR RECEIPTS! This happened to me at the TJmaxx from Brownsville. Like I said it hasn’t been the first time with her, that’s why I am leaving...

I found several pants in my size which I bought.The pants were reasonably priced. The store is very clean and some parts of the store were organized ,they need more cashiers. My only concern is that the women department is very limited. I saw a few blouses in this section, but unfortunately they were very ugly. They looked draped and and outdated. I feel that even if women use larger sizes we like to wear nice looking clothes. The store buyers should look for style in the purchasing of these clothing. It looks like they aren't putting enough effort in their selections of plus size clothing. I wasn't the only customer who felt this way ,there was an other lady looking at plus size clothing and was disappointed at the selections being offered at this store. T. J.Maxx in...

The lady manager very unprofessional and not qualified for her position! There was a small wooden 4 layer shelf very damaged at the brownsville TJ Max. I didn't know I was going to report this so some areas I did not take a pic with more areas damaged on each corner and scratched. She comes back and tells me that it cost $89.00 minus $20.00 discount!!! Near by there was a wooden shelf exactly the same but smaller by one less shelf (not damaged) and that was$79.00 on sale for $59.00!! My point is the one I wanted was damaged alot she needs to learn how to appropriately mark down damaged merchandise! She's unfriendly too pretty much could care less :( :( I didn't take pic of all...
