I placed an order for Valentine’s for my daughter at A&M and they did not deliver the flowers. I placed the order on the 9th to be delivered on Valentine’s Day. When I hadn’t heard anything from my daughter by mid afternoon, I called Nita’s and they assured me that the flowers were delivered and even said that my daughter’s flowers were the “third order” out. My daughter never received the flowers and I called Nita’s at 9 pm to leave a message. The same person I had spoken to in the afternoon answered and gave a long explanation about how their power was out “from 9-3” and that they were still trying to make deliveries. She did not mention this when we spoke earlier.
I spent $118.70 (this was the cost of a basic arrangement, some candy, and, ironically, a $20 delivery fee and my daughter didn’t get anything from me for Valentine’s for the first time in her life. Please don’t do business with these people. They are, at best, completely inept.
Update: They finally delivered the flowers at 10 pm on Valentine's day after I called them and complained. They promised to refund my money AND deliver the flowers late to make it right. I agreed to this. However, then did not refund my money.
Please see the comment below by the owner that they will refund my money and the pic of my credit card showing that they did not. Also, see where the owner said for me to call and discuss. When I initially called, the put me on hold and then hung up. I called back and waited a long time on hold again, but they did not speak to me.
These people are completely dishonest. Do not do business with them. Now I’ll have to go through my credit card company to resolve this. I’ve wasted so much time and energy on this. Buyer beware! These...
Read more2/16/24 UPDATE: Husband called this morning after receiving an email that the flowers were delivered, when they were in fact NOT delivered, and was told he would be receiving a refund. Still leaving one star due to lack of communication, lying and horrible business ethics. Flowers should have been delivered and/or credit given for future order AND full refund.
EDITED TO ADD: After promising the flowers would be delivered today (2/15) and told they were on the delivery truck, the flowers were NOT DELIVERED! The mailbox is also full and we were unable to leave voicemails. This is wrong, Nita’s! Make it right!!
My husband, Jacob W, ordered an arrangement for Valentine's Day a week in advance (on February 6th). The order was NOT delivered on Valentine's Day and he did not receive a call or email to inform him the delivery didn't happen on the 14th. No call was received on the 15th either as he had to call to ask why the order wasn't delivered. The reasoning was "a delivery driver did not show up." Easily forgivable if business was handled correctly on the 14th with a simple phone call. Order should have been refunded and delivered regardless as it is a day late and no notice was given of late delivery. However, only half was refunded. Read moreI placed an order with From You Flowers for delivery for a funeral. It was a relatively simple order that was placed multiple days ahead of time. My order ended up going through Nita’s. The order never got delivered. Someone from the funeral had to end up picking up the order to take it to the church. The shop was provided with the address of the funeral plus 2 contact phone numbers too. This information was provided multiple times. I was absolutely furious to find out that my order was never delivered by the florist. Absolutely unacceptable to me! Then Nita’s wanted to withhold that information from telling From You Flowers about it. I’m just thankful that my order did make it to the funeral in time.
