I like this Target usually, but today, this Target was underwhelming and very disappointing. The store was busy, as it usually is on December 23rd every year, but not too busy for me to walk around or to not find things that I was looking to buy. The floor staff/team members weren't on the sale floor--no, in fact, I only saw one staff member helping other customers after walking around the entire store. When I got to checkout, they barricaded the entire checkout section as well as the self-checkout area, making it so that you HAD to file into a line, even though it was not at all backed up. People in this line couldn't tell which registers were open or closed, which made the process significantly more difficult. Because of this, I walked up to self checkout... only to see it had also been barricaded using a bunch of shopping carts. Annoying as all get out and honestly, a pretty cheap and ratchet look for this Target. I've been to this Target on black fridays, when such a system is necessary for the store to maintain order. Today was not like black friday. Today was much more peaceful, and I'm pretty disappointed that the staff did not help out nor make the process any easier for last-minute shoppers. Dude, I was just trying to buy red velvet chips ahoy cookies and a cold brew can that I had a coupon for. It shouldn't have taken me 15 minutes...
Read moreThe manager of the store rang up my purchase recently. All was fine, until she came across an item I was buying on clearance and she told me that she could not sell it to me at that price. It was marked with a Target Clearance sticker - that she actually checked to see if I had put on there - and she would not sell me the item. Most stores will honor THEIR mistake. (The price that she offered to “sell” it to me was $5 more than what was marked.) Her terrible representation - over FIVE dollars - lost all of my respect for (that) Target. It will be a long time before I shop any Target again, if ever. I will never shop at that Target location.
Side note - she actually rang the item up for the clearance price on the sticker and when I declined to pay more than what she rang up - she didn’t even remove the charge so I had to go back into the store again to have it corrected. Sloppy service - from the manager, no less. Get it...

I was actually sitting in another line waiting for checkout when I looked over at his line and saw it was moving at a great pace. He was not only fast but he was friendly. I was actually having a bad day and left your store with a smile. He has great persona and looked like he actually enjoyed his job. We need more customers service employees like him in this world. We would have more people smiling. I just wanted to give him a big thank you! He had the perfect attitude! He asked me How was my day, if I found everything I needed, he even told me about some sales of the week when I told him I was on a budget. He also told me about the clearance rack.
