One of my deliveries took over an hour. I called the store for an ETA, (not mad, just STARVING), and was told the delivery guy would be leaving the store soon. When the gentleman arrived, he gave me my pizza, and I tried to pay him. The order was $20.xx, but I didnāt have smaller bills, and neither did he, so I just offered him the two $20s that I had. He offered to cover the change, and refused the tip. I couldnāt let him do this, (I cannot short someone on a tip), so I hurried to collect change from my savings jar, and ran it out to the parking lot, meeting him right before he made it to his car. Well, last night, I received a message from Pizza Hut apologizing for ādropping the ball,ā and offering me a FREE coupon for any large pizza of my choice. I was really shocked, and appreciative, as it was an unexpected gesture, and I hadnāt been upset with the service at all. I was actually very impressed with the gentleman who delivered. Even though it was just a few cents, I was beyond surpised that he offered to pay the difference for me, and refused his tip. He was very sweet about the whole thing, and professional. I think any employer should be grateful to have an employee that exhibits such integrity and professionalism. I wish I would have caught his name, but I knew that he was busy, and as I had already wasted his time flagging him down, I didnāt want to delay him more. Good...

After 1h30 minutes I called looking for my pizza. After multiple calls and holds, I find out BILLY cancelled my order, because I did not answer my phone when he called to "verify" my order and stated this is pizza hut's policy. BS! Once he found out who I was he called me a liar before giving the phone to his manager. The manager was nice however I will never order from this location ever again because the delivery driver might do something to my food. I will also make sure everyone i know and work with never uses this store location again. I understand that this isn't a glamours job, but poor attitude is not acceptable when I made every effort to not only help him find my apartment. Including walking outside to the front of the correct apartment complex since he went to the wrong one to meet him and then giving him a tip which i regret now and wish i could take back.
