Fehrenbach Black Forest Clocks — Local services in Buckingham Township

I have a vintage Anri Nativity set that has been in my family since the late 1950’s. When I discovered that the angel was missing, a Google search brought me to Fehrenbach Black Forest Clocks and Gifts. I am lucky to have found them. I cannot say enough about how helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable Martina and her staff were in replacing this figure.

After Martina informed me that Anri had gone out of business and there were no more replacement pieces for a 60 year old set like mine, she guided me toward another company, Pema, that makes hand carved Nativity sets. She sent me photos of two different angels. The artistry of each immediately stood out. I chose the “ Gloria Angel” for the delicacy of its facial features and the intricacy of the scroll work on the Gloria banner. Also, I was able to modify the coloring of the wings to better blend with my set.

My husband and I had another very good experience today at Fehrenbach Clock Shop. We had 2 cuckoo clocks repaired earlier this year and clocks were working perfectly afterwards. My husband recently broke both clocks --- pulling the chain too swiftly resulting in the clock mechanism getting jammed and not sure what he did to the other clock. Today we stopped by the clock shop and we were helped by Taylor. He was great and so helpful. He looked at both clocks and was able to quickly diagnose the problems, he freed the jammed clock and then explained the problem with the other clock and was able to get it to work properly since it was a simple leveling issue. Purchased a beautiful large clock in Germany while on vacation and had it shipped home by Black Forest manufacturer. Well it broke in shipping. They sent a second one and DHL broke it. They called Farenbach as they were their closest retailer in US. We the had a new clock shipped to their store and when we went to Peddler’s Village to get the clock it was beautiful and he made sure it was pristine and perfectly working for us. They took the two broken clocks and worked with the supplier in Germany to return them to the factory. We didn’t know the Fehrenbach‘s we’re so close to Hershey and beside all the awesome authentic German item we purchased from their store we enjoyed a day at Peddler’s Village in New Hope.
