Fizzy Mama — Local services in Buckingham Township

If I could give this place 0 stars I would. We went this past Saturday obviously knowing it would be busy. I’ve been in the service industry for 14 years so I am very patient when it comes to things of this nature and I NEVER complain because I get it. To say this service and staff is horrendous is an understatement. One of the girls long hair kept going inside of people cups! So disgusting! Not enough staff clearly. They had no sense of urgency with it being semi busy. In the HOUR AND A HALF my group waiting on SODAS they made maybe 15 drinks. Our group of orders was behind roughly 10 people so it was not crazy busy. I left without my soda because the two snotty girls started skipping my groups orders. One of my friends drinks didn’t even come full. Than I attempted to reach out to the manager/owner multiple times and they don’t even have the decency to speak with me. Absolutely horrible and extremely unprofessional. I advise no one to go to this place. It is not worth your time or money.

And just as a side note to just how patient I can be…we went to their other location, Mama Hawks earlier in the day, also waited an hour and a half however the staff was hustling and they were doing quadruple if not more the amount of customers with much more detailed orders that take more time.

And I’ve read other reviews of customers having the same exact problems repeatedly and they still refuse to do anything about it, which is an absolute joke to me. Went to Fizzy Mama from a recommendation from a friend and was so excited to try it. We went on a Saturday knowing it was going to be busy but wanted to try anyway. The place was super cute but only one person was working. We thought nothing of it, my four friends and I placed separate orders on the online screen. We left, took pictures and 20 minutes later we came back. Our drinks still weren’t done, weird. We walked around for another 40 minutes thinking there is no way that they won’t be done yet. We walked back in and they still weren’t done. We asked the one employee working if we were close in line and he had to swipe to try to find our orders and said that it would still be another 40 minutes. We waited for another 10 and realized that he was making the orders coming in first instead of the online screen ones. Then all five of us got refund. We were very excited to try this newer place but we were very disappointed. Why would you have one worker on a Saturday at Peddlers village knowing how packed it gets? While I love the idea of this place and I actually like everything but 1 that I have tried (about 10 things so far), I find it very odd that a business that seemingly caters to younger clientele is cashless. In a day when so many people are pushing cash and cash discounts (bc you don't have to pay fees on cash like you do credit), to have a cashless business in a soda shop is strange. I don't want to send my child out with my cc to hang out for a few hours with her friends just so they can get a drink.

Now, onto the stuff we have tried.... The smoothies are banging, and I would 100% recommend them. My kids really enjoyed their sodas. I tried them and they were very good, but I don't drink sugary stuff for health reasons. The pretzel bites were delicious, too, and they come with a dip.
