ZERO STARS if I could rate on Google!! Extremely disappointing experience at The Mole Hole in Peddler’s Village.
I came in with my family, including my daughters, and admired the store’s many wind chimes. As a consumer, I love the sound of wind chimes, and yes, I tapped a few while walking through with my girls (there were no signs anywhere saying not to). Instead of kindly addressing it, the man who said he was the owner came up and told me to stop, repeatedly ordered me to leave the store, and went so far as to say I “couldn’t afford” the wind chimes anyway.
I found this insulting, unprofessional, and frankly discriminatory. I could afford the items (I even bought a bracelet despite the treatment), but no customer should be spoken to that way — especially in front of their children. When I asked the front desk to get the manager, the staff refused.
Peddler’s Village is supposed to be a family-friendly place, but this was one of the rudest encounters I’ve had as a paying customer. If management cares about customer serviced e and inclusivity, they need to seriously rethink how people are treated here. I was humiliated… told to leave immediately and that I “couldn’t afford” anything in the store. Disrespectful, condescending, and felt outright discriminatory because YES IM HISPANIC! Families beware: spend your...

It looks like this was used and someone brought...
Read moreYou just lost a customer because you would not replace an $8 defective item. I understand I was beyond your time limit for returns...but it was a gift and it was defective. A decorative fan pull should not break the first (or fiftieth) time used. Not smart...
