This was not my first visit to this store. I have been there a couple of times. Each time I was assisted by a very nice associate. Last night I was assisted by a very nice, helpful, friendly young man. My task was to find a t-shirt that a 13 year old (I have never met) a mans xl t shirt with either Police Logo or Military logo. This as I explained to the young man was for a "needy" child whom was identified at my Yoga Studio as a child in need at Christmas. They ask the children what they would most like and then it is placed on a tree at the studio. Yoga students are then asked to pick at least one child and purchase whatever is on their list. It is often a real eye opener as to the needs of children in our community. Often these "want" lists are more like "needs" list. Imagine asking your 10, 11, or 12 year old what they would like for Christmas? Do you think they would respond with underwear, undershirts, sox, toothpaste? That is what many of this children put on their want list. When I explained this to an employee (who seemed to be the manager) there and asked if I purchased one of the TSHIRTS for this boy (16.95) would the store be willing to donate the other. Rather quickly I was turned down and told "The owner does not allow it." So despite my wanting to show the young man that was so helpful and even empathetic, I decided I wasn't going to purchase anything from a store that didn't have a real sense of Community. I will not be returning to this store and happy to share my experience with others....
Read moreThe seller shipped me 2 boots that did not even match each other. (Left and right were not a matched set). They also did not match the description of used-excellent from their website. They did respond to email by defending their product, explaining to me what the word 'vintage' means, and giving me a short story of their history of past good transactions. (None of their responses had any bearing on the actual issue at hand) They failed to understand that the issue was on their side. They failed to accept any responsibility and failed to stop making excuses. They still continue to defend misrepresented product. I did get a return label and sent the boots back. The same day they were returned (per tracking) I was told they were still waiting to get them to be able refund. After multiple emails, I decided to open a claim with PayPal and escalated to them to resolve. From that point, all correspondence was through the paypal dispute (not email) so that it was all documented. It's also worthy of noting that camolots wanted me to drop the dispute as well, which I did not do. PayPal did side on my behalf and I received a full refund. I updated my initial review here with details after I received an email from camolots asking me to remove my honest review of their services because they don't understand why I would leave a 1 star review. After multiple emails and multiple detailed correspondence via PayPal, they STILL don't believe there was an issue and continue to blame a customer. This is why the 1...
Read moreTook my son here as he is a collector of all things military. They had signs everywhere that said 50% off everything The guy told us helmet Liner was 20 they charged us 40. The pants they only gave us 25% off. Complete rip off and false advertising. Everything is drastically over priced.
Update. I am not local so I'm not able to just stop back in. The rack the pants were on did not have any sinage what so ever, so going off the signs in the window that say everything 50% off. Also there was no 50% on the spare parts pouch we purchased. I was told the liner was 20 so that would have made it 10 with 50% off. I'm not sure why you feel reviews of somthing that has happened in your store should not be allowed...yes to you 20 may not seem like a lot of a big deal however to some people it is. Reviews help other shoppers understand what sort of customer service they will be receiving and if they should watch out for anything like over pricing. My review doesn't state anywhere not to come to your store and is in no way trying to shut down your store it's simply sharing my...
