I've been a MOW volunteer for MANY years. This is one way for seniors to receive meal assistance when they are unable to do it themselves. This allows a lot of people to stay in their own home instead of having to go to some kind of care facility. If you have even a couple of hours a week to help deliver meals, the help will be much appreciated. If you can't help, but are grateful for the program MOW does accept donations. :) Meals on Wheels is a COMMUNITY program so if you love your community and have a little extra time come on out and join us. Set up to deliver meal on a table on front porch. Meals on wheels canceled service. I thought they were here to provide a service to people that need it not there back office policies.
