We initially were staying at this hotel for a family visit...turned out to be the epic snowstorm of all time!!! With the driving ban and the roads closed, those of us that were checked in couldn't leave, and those that could not continue to be out on the roads joined us. Considering the awful perdicament that all the guests were in, the staff did everything possible to make it comfortable!! The front desk guys were both so helpful and accomodating. The phone was constantly ringing and guests were continually requesting information. Their patience was truly amazing, they were consistantly professional and helpful! The maintenance guy was a rock star with the never ending shoveling and snowblowing, and keeping the floors dry (over 7 ft of snow!). The woman taking care of the coffee and food was awesome! The coffee and hot water never ran out, the breakfast stayed out much longer for obvious reasons, she constantly kept everything refilled, and there was always drinks and snacks out for all of us that were just hanging around. She kept us all informed about what was going on beyond the snowed-in parking lot, from her husband. Everyone got to know each other real well and made a horrible situation very bearable! We could continue with this unbelievable few days, and how comforting it was to be standed at the Comfort Inn because it was the most memorable hotel stay we ever had! We hope some of the other folks who stayed during this incredible storm, leave some feedback as well. We are the couple that said we would walk to the airport due to the urgency of needing to get home to Florida...thank you to all the staff that was stuck there like the rest of us and for keeping the hotel clean and professional and hospitable throughout an emergency event!! We took the pens from the room to show everyone down south where we were stuck during the storm that...
Read moreI stayed 2 nights at this hotel / first day we were out most of day and when we arrived at hotel for the night my daughter who is asthmatic started having an attack , I kept her infront the ac so she can get fresh air and realized the room was masked with concentrated air freshener to mask the smoke smell in the room . I contacted front desk and told them we wanted to cancel the second night and were told they couldn’t cancel it but give us a different room . I was in room 136 and got moved to 230 . Went to second room which also had a nasty smell and carpet was filthy . We were not able to get a refund for the second night so we’re pretty much forced to stay there . Now when I was sleeping in room at night I woke up to bites on both my ankles and legs on fire and itchy . I had to run to cvs to get Benadryl rubbing alcohol and pain meds as I was ivitten on both legs from this facility .. CVS told me it looks like bed bugs are flea tick bites on both legs. They didn’t have no manger there for me to talk to hotel was real nasty and not what I call quality inn . I rate my stay as a 0.I been contacting the hotel since I left to solve this issue I’m still being told no manger is in.Front desk lady took pics of my legs and told me someon will contact me .. I’m so upset with this situation and can’t find a manager to rectify these issues.. If you are traveling with kids with asthma Don’t come to this place , also if you have sensitive skin I would not book this hotel .. I’ve never needed to write a review on anything but I was left with no choice after my situation.. Never in my life ever encountered a hotel so filthy outdated and infested with bed bugs , fleas , ticks, and smoke .. My 2day vacation turned into disaster. Here are pics to show you what my legs looked like when I went to front desk ..I hope manger sees this...
Read moreThe staff appeared uknowledgable as they were unable to answer many of our questions pertaining to our booking. We inquired about veteran's discounts and again they could not provide an answer. There was only staff member that thanked my disabled veteran husband for his service, even though he was wearing his veteran hat and displayed veteran identification, The only staff member who said anything was the nice lady working in the breakfast room. We asked about rewards points and veterans discounts when we checked in at the front desk and the clerk said there was nothing she could do and seem to be more interested in her social media on her phone. The room was uncomfortabe. We didnt order a handicapped room because it would not have iincluded a tub. My husband has trouble standing for long periods of time in walk in showers. The shampoo and conditioner dispensers were mounted behind the shower head making them uncomfortable to use while showering. They required two hands to operate which my husband was unable to do because he needed one hand free to hold himself up safely. The bed was so high that people who are 5'6 and under would have had difficulty getting in and out. The toilet and chairs in the room where so low to the ground my husband could not use them. He had to use a toilet down the hall by the meeting rooms. Breakfast offered nothing for people with nutrional issues like diabetetics even though your advertisement clearly showed a warmer for serving eggs and sausage. There wasn't even whole wheat toast or whole grain cereal options. The pool was overly chlorinated. Definately one the worst Quality Inns we have ever stayed in as rewards...
