We put a delivery order in at 10:12pm on a Monday night. I got an email saying the order would be delayed and delivered by11:09pm. At 11:27pm I called the restaurant. They said it should be delivered in 5 min. At 12:08am, I called the Slice app and they said it should be here any minute. I received a call from the delivery driver at 12:19am. He said he was downstairs. I live in a single family home. I told him that. He said ok and hung up. At 12:21am, he called back saying he was downtown at the wrong address. At 12:49am, still no pizza. I called the Slice app again asking for a refund. They said the pizza is out for delivery and they can't cancel. They said there is a snow storm delaying delivery. I live in south cheektowaga. There is no snow storm tonight. We got maybe an inch of snow.
We finally got a call from the delivery driver at 12:55am. He said he was at the end of my street. He somehow how got stuck in the one inch of snow that fell. My husband had to walk a block down the road to get our pizza and walk back.
While my husband was walking to get our order, I called the restaurant. The man on the phone said his name was Jeremy. He took my name and number and said the next order was on the house. He couldn't give me a refund. He was nice on the phone, but 3 hours is a very long time for the order we had on a random Monday night.
100% unacceptable. 3 hours for a pizza and an order of chicken finger. And we had to walk to the end of the...
Read moreThey must have a whole new crew. 230 am I ordered 3 slices, 2 Bleu cheese, and a 2 liter of Pepsi. I messed up and put the tip for the driver on the phone. No Bleu cheese meant I really tasted the hours old cold slices. The driver did bring my Pepsi back but apparently Doriann didn't hear me say Pepsi. $25 later after they adjusted my total I called and spoke to Keisha. Since I didn't have my order number we agreed I'd call her the next day. I waited until 9pm because they open at 5pm and it usually busy at dinner time. Keisha hung up on me mid sentence. I called and hour later and she wasn't there so I left a message. It's 12:30am and after arguing just be able to get out a sentence, I was told I owe her driver for the pepsi. Lord have mercy! I declined the $1.98 refund she offered for the Bleu cheese. The resolution is I can come in for my slices because I want fresh ones. We need the partners crew back in there. Damn I ain't even trying to go get fresh slices cause I can't have Bleu cheese I already paid for, if I owe the driver for the Pepsi he didn't have to pay for, i dont even want it. Absolutely miserable manager and horrible service. I pitty whoever...
Read morePROS: The late hours. I work late some nights so having something open that isn't just mc donalds is pretty solid. Staff was nice, though seemed overwhelmed.
CONS: I ordered pickup through doordash. I understand the need to streamline and make orders simple for staff to prepare, especially if a place is busy. however, i was unable to order a sub because it didn't explain what sauce came on it as there were no options. That was kind of frustrating.
I know prices suck in general (I work retail management and have handled purchasing) and that apps like doordash take a cut but the prices seemed extremely high for some items. Like a whole sub being almost $20 when you don't know if mayo or oil come on it and can't specify but comparable places are significantly less and that's through apps as well. I don't think I would mind, especially as your hours are great and a premium I'd spend for, if I had the potential for options.
I don't mean to sound petty and again I understand the difficulty in maintaining a business, especially right now.
The pizza was also pretty mid but pizza is a very subjective so that could 100%...
