Pawn-it — Local services in Buffalo

Went in today 7/27/2019. I've been here before and have talked to the owner before. Today I was looking for a bike nice guy outside said he was just bringing them up so I went inside to check some stuff out see what else they got in. The owner as he kept calling himself (which I knew and understood as i have talked to him before and he has made this claim hank you and congratulations I believe you, you are the heart of America and I do not mean that slyly Im serious small business is the lifeblood of this country). I asked about a nintendo switch said he had one on hold for review and that i could put a deposit I said cool can i see it he said he would get it. It didnt have a dock so no go. I asked about wireless headphones he had a pair of JBL Free headphones same headphones I was actually wearing and purchased for $50 about a month ago. He shot me a price of $100 as they were NiB told him retail was $100 and I already told him I paid $50 for NiB a month ago from facebook (which is a very good deal as $75-80 would be good. After some talk he said they just came out a week ago - i misunderstood that as i knew they couldnt have come out a week ago as i already told him i got mine a month ago. Pretty sure be thought i was being rude as i didnt know he was talking about coming off the watch list a week ago. He went into exclaiming that this is the only business i the customer am wrong in. Ok understood yes this is a pawn shop you are correct and have seen a lot more than I have. However there is such thing as bad customer service and you being the owner should know that. I know you deal with thousands of people so ill let this slide but seriously man dont know if you felt inferior or what but thats not a way an owner should act and hopefully next time if there is a next time you remember this as it will be on the internet forever. I am a total film fanatic. I own over 1500 DVDs and am always on the look out for movies that I feel I NEED to enhance my collection. So, when a good friend told me about a near by pawn shop that had an entire wall of DVDs I knew I had to go. The first time I saw the store I was blown away. They really, literally have an entire wall of DVDs, not to mention I later found out that they frequently cycle the movies with the veritable treasure trove they must have hidden away. Which is another nice thing. Many pawn shops or worse thrift stores have a lot of stuff, but its everywhere impossible to get at! But not at Pawn It. There you have nice clear pathways as well as fairly easy access. That first trip I walked out with 18 new movies for just $20. There is nowhere you can get a better deal! Not to mention that each of the films was choice. Everyone played flawlessly. That was a few months ago. Since then I have been back several times. Each time I had no trouble walking out with a large variety of films that I had been on the prowl for, well a long time. In fact just today I came across a foreign film that I have been trying to track down for ten years! It never fails to amaze me no matter how frequently I go in I never have trouble getting films that weren't there the time before (many of which are relatively new movies too). But the really best feature, and the main reason why I am now a steadfast customer, is the staff. As I said, I am a film buff, so I have a great memory for actors and lines and scenes. It was very nice to receive help from someone who also has that kind of knowledge. Getting new stuff is always fun. Never go here. If I could I would give 0 stars. I read most of the reviews so I thought it was going to be a nice place but it definitely wasn't. The most rude arrogant employees work here. I will never go back! The front counter dude was so rude. Pretty much judged me for trying to sell a Michael Kors Watch. Saying it's a fossil watch when it was clearly over $300 and says Michael Kors on it. Then another employee says your buying the name. Well you are too if your selling it! Idiots! I'm not expecting that kind of money but he didn't have to throw my watch down and say I'm not interested in it. I was gonna look around but after that I got out of their. Instead I went to buffalo jewelry and loan and the guy was super nice. Even suggested to sell it myself because their are so many MK watches. I will deff be back their again! But never go here! If u want to have a bad day then go to pawn it. The employees will help you out with that!

UPDATE TO RESPONSE BELOW: FYI! I had never asked for $300. You asked me what I would take for it and I said whatever you can give me and you with the almost bald headed man threw it on the counter and said I'm not interested. Don't lie! You were very rude and a LIAR! I also had the extra links and the tools that come with it along with the box. You didn't even give me the time of day to show you. Your statement below is false!
