Do not take your vehicle to this place. They do not stand behind their work. I had a stinger radio installed and had issue from day one. I had to take the vehicle back to them 3 times in a week because the tech did not know where the Apple car play cable needed to be connected. I had to show them how to do it. Also forgot to install the antenna and subwoofer. 5 months later had an issue with the radio due to their poor installation work. The radio cause issues with the jeep computer and caused the vehicle not to start. I spoke to Adam the manager who seemed very helpful on the first day. But everything went down hill after that. They had the vehicle for a week and basically did very little work on it. I had issue getting in contact with Adam and when I finally got him on the phone he told me he had contacted Stinger for a replacement unit. A week passed with no updates. I finally got a hold of Adam again after he would not return my calls. I told him, basically not giving me much information on the status of the replacement which seemed odd and tried to push me to just purchase a new radio. I told him I would give him another week and if nothing was done I would escalate this issue. Instead of a week, I gave him two weeks and I’m these two weeks I heard nothing back from him. Once again, left multiple calls and only got him to call me back after I told him I would file a lawsuit if the issue was not resolved, instead of attempting to resolve the issue he basically told me he could not work with me. From the beginning I told him. All I wanted was great customer service by getting follow up calls on the status of the replacement radio. I also never provided proof that he ever reached out to Stinger. Stinger had no record of a call with this place. He basically told me he would not do anything for me. Stinger would not work with my directly either which is something I told him as well. Stinger said they would only work with the shop that installed the radio. Lucky for me I found another shop that would help me. They contacted Stinger and in 2 days I had the radio replaced and it is working as expected. The shop that replaced the radio was shocked with how AllSouth did the install of the radio. Wires were all over and pinched which could have caused the issue to begin with. Stay away...
Read moreBased on customer service, product knowledge, quality of products used and speed of service, there is no other shop to take your vehicle to. Staff will take their time with you to figure out your needs/wants and will not over sell you while guiding you through the process. We are still in the middle of a very big vehicle upgrade. I will update this post as we progress further.
5/20/2022 update. Still love this crew. I am super happy with how the truck turned out. It's everything I hoped for and more. Allsouth rocks!
1/29/2024 update. Its a bit long, but you have to see what I went through and how Allsouth handled it. I took my truck to the dealership (aka stealership) to get a recall, oil change, fuel filters changed and while it was there I asked them to rotate the tires. They destroyed one of my lug nuts and called saying, " whoever did the work previously, cross-threaded and overtightened the lug. Will will have to drill/extract the stud and replace it along with the rest. New studs, lugs and labor will be $830+." I told them not to do a thing and that I'd be right over. Some how, my service advisor and EVERYONE working in the bays were gone when I got there. Another service advisor helped me out. The lug was nowhere to be found, the threads seemed fine and the stud was in place and seemed tight. After requesting the lug the service advisor called the tech, found the lug and told me, "the stud is probably fine." Low and behold they had clearly inserted the lug only half way into the socket and twisted/warped it.
I drove to Allsouth and told them what was going on. They took my truck back, threw on a matching lug nut, tested the stud's hold with a torque wrench and sent me on my way. FREE OF CHARGE and in under 10 minutes. Allsouth again...
Read moreCan it be that I finally found a group of trustworthy mechanics? I brought my Tacoma in with a cracked frame. They spent close to two hours inspecting the whole frame by removing the bed. They took pictures and gave me a detailed quote for the work that needed to be done. I thought I was going to have to pay for that inspection. Nope. They apologized for the time it took. I actually thought it wasn’t that long for that thoroughness of inspection. Emailed me the quote which was over half as much as some other”frame specialists “ who simply looked under the wheel well and in 15 seconds.gave me a quote. We set an appointment and the work was done as promised. Truck is back on the road as good as new. KISS Keep It Simple Stupid. This is not just a bunch of young kids running a tint and stereo shop. These guys are pros at what they do and apparently they are equipped to do all manner of repairs. I’ve read where some people felt the customer service was lacking. My experience was very positive. Then again I wasn’t looking for a date. I was looking to have a serious issue with my truck taken care of. It was. And the receptionist didn’t get mad at me when I butt dialed her 6 times. Straight forward, honest, fair service. I’ll be back as long as I keep getting this...
